SCENERGY charts - fall edition 1999 CURRENT RULERS compiled by raver / phantasy # L # best cracking group pts January 2003 Fatality 253 February 2004 Phantasy 172 March 1922 Mayhem 133 February 4 1962 Digital Reality May 2006 Flash Inc 1959 June 2009 Phantom Family 45 13 July 1943 Eternity Industry August 1910 Amiga Must Die 1936 September 16 Naughty Crew 25 October 1914 Ascendancy Creative Labs 15 There they are, major changes! Almost everyone who's left from the previous chart, climbed some places. Partly that's because dead groups were removed, partly also because voters recognised active teams at last. Also, AMD is alive! They recently cracked Miracle # 3 and therefore well deserve a place there. Not much heard from FTL lately cracking-wise, so can we expect a fall next time? # L # best demo group pts January 2001 Digital Reality 403 February 1910 Eternity Industry 219 March 2006 E-Mage 189 April 2008 Real Masters Group 167 May 2002 Progress 149 June 2003 Extreme 143 July 2009 3SC Hardcore 91 27 August 1986 Accept Corp September 1917 Die Krupps Group 60 15 October 1955 K3L Corp The 63 Bit series helped AC to jump nearly twenty positions up. First place without changes, PGS is falling apart because of idling of ages. Also XTM is leaving, this year there were only intros and one quite poor demo from this famous demo group. Nice to see here Slovakia's 3SC and Czechia's K3L entering the top as well as DKG who finally managed to get in. And, strange enough, EMG climbed three places despite very low activity demo-wise. # L # best single cracker pts 2001 - Fyrex / Mayhem 106 February 2006 Ars / Fatality 104 March 2005 Raver / Phantasy 58 April 1920 Pol / Phantasy 51 May 2008 Maddy / Phantom Family / Phantasy 50 23 June 1935 X-Agon/Phantasy July 22 Mast / Fatality 26 August 1912 Tom Hial / Ascendancy Creative Labs 19 September 1913 Dr Dash / Dio-Gen 1918 October 16 Schiva / Naughty Crew 17 Wow, Fyrex! Last time noone out of over 100 voters mentioned him but now he is number one thanks to bunch of quality cracks. But, weren't these done in the end on 1998? Or am i wrong? Pol did some nice cooperation with FTL, releasing such games as Quadrax, Sherwood and Twiligh, that's why he is here, but Maddy surely is the best and most active PHT cracker today, sho he should be first in the row of PHT cracking quattro. # L # best single coder pts January 2002 Flying / Digital Reality 278 February 1924 Serzhsoft 164 March 16 Kva / E-Mage 132 January 4 Exploder / Extreme 130 May 2005 Copper Feet 122 June 18 Sairoos / Eternity Industry 1988 July 1943 Freeman / Fatality 77 August 1917 Baze/3SC Hardcore 52 September 1921 Dc Pak / Claw / Exodus 51 10 - Phantom Lord / Accept Corp 1950 Even can't tell you what's more cool - Serzh from 24th to second place or Freeman from 43rd to seventh! Anyway, active people's ratings are raising. Exploder did leave speccy and therefore he is moving out, just a natural thing. Being really productive, Phantom Lord enters the top ten, also people who were previously in lower positions before, like Kva, Dc Pak and Baze, are coming in. The question is, will they stay here? # L # best single graphician pts January 2003 Fil / Antares 269 2002 - Diver / Fourth Dimension 245 March 2001 Terror / Digital Reality 221 April 2002 Teeray / Extreme 128 May 2004 Paracels / Eternity Industry 120 June 2006 Demiurge Ash / ex-Eternity Industry 1961 July 2008 Hazard / Phantasy 54 11 August 1949 Cat-Man/Claw/Exodus September 1934 Werewolves / Fatality 43 October 17 Colorbok / Phantom Family 38 Some kept their previous positions, some moved up or down a bit, but the surprise of the season is Diver ofcourse! Considering his incredible activity it's only logical, however not much of people nowadays tend to notice and dynamically accept changes, therefore it came as surprise anyway. And Werewolves taking chart by the storm, is there any reason? Didn't see anything from him for a quite long time. # L # best single musician pts January 19 Mast / Fatality 176 February 2004 Jaan / Phantasy 128 March 2006 Sauron / Digital Reality 125 April 21 Ea Soft / Antares 117 May 10 Visual / Extreme 105 June 1 Mic / Progress 62 July 2007 Joe / Digital Reality 1959 17 August 1956 X-Agon/Phantasy September 1922 Mmcm / Sage Production 1954 18 Zhenya/ex-Zer0 International Association 1954 October 1940 Sairoos / Eternity Industry 1950 A lot of changes there. Who expected to see Mast at the very top? Definitely not me. 10th place is also surprising, climbing 30 places isn't a joke! Ea lately became very popular as well as Zhenya, who nowadays arn't interested in speccy anymore. Where are Agent-X, Ironman and Andrew Fer? Very close but this time they are still left outside. # L # best group's organizer pts January 2001 Arty / Digital Reality 332 February 2003 Unbeliever / Extreme 160 March 2006 Raver / Phantasy 145 April 1913 Random / Concern Chaos 1993 May 2008 Ars / Fatality 80 06 - La Esq / Raww Arse 31 July 24 Diver / Fourth Dimension 1925 August 2007 Magic / Extreme 24 September 2004 Rom / Progress 23 October 1910 Viator / Avalon / Amazing Software Making 22 Ufff looks like i should say something about organizers ... there is everything written down and crystal clear! Just like any other chart;] But well i know you're all waiting what the hell i will say, for example, about fact that Arty is absolute number one getting twice as points as nearest follower. Good question! I don't know! But i know why La Esq appeared here. It's because he made RA to release some nice demo finally. You did it Neil! # L # best editor / journalist pts 01 - Raver / Phantasy 188 2002 - Unbeliever / Extreme 169 03 - Arty / Digital Reality 1996 2004 - Werewolves / Fatality 76 2005 - Ars / Fatality 66 2006 - Ruster / XL Design 37 2008 - Diver / Fourth Dimension 1929 07 - Ze Pagan / Binary Dimension Association 1928 2009 - Flying / Digital Reality 1924 1910 - Demiurge Ash / ex-Eternity Industry 1921 Ha-ha-ha! Now, maybe my russian isn't that bad at all? Better try to judge my journalistic skills in english! Or in latvian, what's perhaps even more interesting. Anyway, here we are with this chart for first time, and my advice is to look closer who's writting what so you will know your speccy journalists a bit better. FTL dudes are still popular but where's promised RIP? And what happened to # Z80? Deja Vu turned commercial, phew!
