             Author's abstract.



     Asked me here to tell what ...



1 How it all began?



     It began long ago, four years ago. I bought the board 
stump 128 and snyuhalsya with advanced spekovskoy youth. Young

length about his great purpose and high performance opening 
after loading assembly ... 


     A couple of years, when the youth has matured,
arguments were quite robust, the people became
a lot, and it was decided to create a landmark decision

in that group ... Moreover, the stupid name (Dark Souls Corp) I 
thought, too, after sitting week with a pocket dictionary.

     As soon as the DSC has been established, we began to 
frantically search for greetings to us in the new software ... 
But nobody regards us to pass in no hurry. Then someone of us 
put forward the hypothesis (then seem to us monstrous, and 
subsequently confirmed) that the In order to receive the

of this brilliant idea is now no longer remember, but it does

2 And what happened?



     And then everyone started to do the same -
nothing.

     Then one day, sitting on the bench for reasoning, DP said 
he wanted to write a game. I vividly was with him to ponder the 
idea ... And once he said that I will not write anything (he

all the dirty work had to do to me ... 

     Initially the project was called 'Son of a lawyer'
and had to be a trilogy about the adventures of
One politician, however, this venerable
son of his motherland was myself, in my view, lead
unsuitable, and I changed the name to Homer Simpson ...

     Once I broke away from the draft DP, to
I was joined by Vlad, with him we had
a few days in the calculation of memory card size
etc. ..


3 Draft 'Homer Simpson' gaining momentum



     The events took place in early 1998
year, by June the game was ready in draft form. All the 
graphics drawing DP, about the music reached an agreement with 
VS ... In June I was on holiday at the basic work done demo. 
Made for a miserable time - day and threw in an echo ... 
However, the same day in the demo found a nasty bug ... I have 
here the same was written by very short Fixer, and I waited

reports of glitches. However, people are resigned to fate,
and none of this glitch did not tell me. Thus,
Fixer remained unclaimed, but now simply have lost relevance in 
light of the full release version ...



4 Why there is a delay on the issue?



     Around the middle of summer, I realized that I had made 
zhelalaemogo, and interest in building began to fall. However, 
after returning from Fantopa, with new forces attacked the AMU, 
and just about everything for the month of November was ready 
... 

     Delays were also at other times. For example,
There was a period when Vladovsky computer is stable,

5 exciting time ...



     ... Throwing the game in an echo zx.spectrum, I was very 
nervous. However, the initial response (loud applause) showed a 
stunning success. Next you know yourself ... 


6 And it all?



     None. Bathed in glory, I started a project of the second 
part. Most were taken and recycled from the first, much has 
been written from scratch, much removed completely ... To date, 
the script described by 100%, most of the graphics are already 
there, it remains to arrange the music (already agreed), voice, 
riveted menu final Kuta, etc. .. 



7 For that I dislike the DR?



     I really do not like when someone has something to
foaming at the mouth and makes no promises, referring to 
'external causes': employment, broken computer, weather on Mars 
... And he somehow! - Cry curious reader. No, dear reader, 
you're wrong. I never promised that something will be done, why 
not call even the approximate time the game was released, and 
all honest warned that the project could be abandoned at any 
time ... 



8 Problem 81%



     Yes, the game image do such a logical hole ...
If you choose a slightly different sequence
action than I can be hard to sit down ...
The computer will ask one thing, but actually it
you first need to execute another action.

     One day sitting at home, enjoying the idleness,
the bell rang and a loud voice asked me.
Since I have been at any point can cause at
work, I inwardly shudder ... It turned out that rang from 
Krasnodar (the other end of Russia) player stumbled on this 
very same 81% ... 

     After (in about a month) call someone
of, if not mistaken, Novosibirsk with the question of
Sprinter ... Then I felt Winnie the Pooh, going to the Donkey's 
birthday, and the phrase became the all-time crack up ... empty 
pot ... damn you ... Sprinter. After listening to my monologue, 
on the other end said goodbye and hung up. 

     Thus, my phone, hastily left in the game, cool someone 
help ... 


9 And why did no cmos?



     Also my fault. The idea is that if there are hours in a 
computer under the scheme Gluck (mine), when taking clock on 
the screen should go real time. Well, if not hours - no cmos. 
It so happens that the uninstaller hours were determined, and 
the game driver did not look back, and the result installer 
simply does not reached the driver ...




10 What will be the new Homer?



     A lot of things. But will he Gomer2 - it's just not yet 
known ... Applied to the time factor in the game, a scripting 
language that controls the game introduced operator of chance; 
new kick-ass graphics and I hope the beautiful sound ... 

     By the way, with the release of Homer a discrepancy arose 
- in the game do not share it with the ultimate goal (to find 
the recipe home brew), so that those who have not seen demo 
version, at first perplexed ... 

     So, the goal of the game 'Homer Simpson II and again
in Russia '- run the nuclear power plant ... I warn you right 
away! :)

11 Why Homer became frivaroy?



     The reasons are many. Home - not up to commercial

     I really do not want to engage in extortion and begging 
(like: please send $ 1 and then get the full version) ... I

I see no reason to sell it. So read

this gorgeous day animated series, I fell in love with him so

13 To the question about who is what it's like.

Lost. But now I think we can put the question differently: 
Paradise Lost, perhaps, someday, perhaps, would be similar to 
Homer ... But this is unlikely, see p.7.


     After the release of Homer 1, I received an offer
