IN> Well, to start probably already obvious question. Please 
introduce yourself, tell us a little about yourself. 

WB> In real life my name is Vladimir Putin, that in the past
years, causing embarrassment for so many ;-), so we will not
focus on the name, I just Wlodek :-).

    I was born and raised in Kolomna - a beautiful old Russian
town, loved and beautiful. So I can not Muscovite, is a

WB> 'Wlodek Black' came in 1987-88, when we
Polish students came, they came up with this unpretentious

Wlodek simply Volodia. These Polish guys showed me
ZX-Spectrum; but only in magazines, but then it was

'Moscow 48K ', who earned the first inclusion. Until that 
moment I managed to create some programs for MSX computers

but there I just signed the initials of VVB, so the alias
'Wlodek Black' can be considered first. Later I became a 
frequent shorten it up to the first word, so that the nickname 
'Wlodek', probably can be considered the last, because I can 
not change nickname going (and why?:)).


IN> How and when, there was your first encounter with an 
immortal the brainchild of Clive Sinclair? Whether you've 
encountered with other platforms to meet with zx and why is 
your choice fell on him? 

WB> Looking Polish magazines 'Bajtek', I quickly drove that
Spectrum's cool:). Before that I was already familiar with the 
'Yamaha' MSX, 'Microsha', 'Agatov' DCC-1. 'Microsha' has left a

personality. We knew his name - Alex, but his name he never 
revealed. K it was impossible to get through - he always called 
himself. No matter how strange, but there is a photograph of 
him. That's all I know about the first man in our newspaper!


    1996-the year was the heyday of network BBS on CDOS modems
The number of users in the hundreds, of course, all together

Newspaper 'On-Line', the first issue announced itself Newspaper
'Maximum'. One autumn day my friend Oscar (Alex Shchedrov)
reported the appearance of new ideas to create a newspaper and

'Nicron-a' was the cycle of my articles about programming, and 
all the rest did MDF and Oscar. MDF-Hacker was a painter,

MDF decorate Nicron for years to come :-); managed to outdo

only Pheel ;-).

    Name 'Nicron' gave newspaper MDF-Hacker. Something is the

the newspaper 'Nicron':). Something from the field of computer 
games kind of ... But most live links - to the newspaper 
'Nicron', rather than something else:).


IN> Do you think so or by whom it is to
still alive and not going to die?

WB> Actually, this question arose before ... MDF-Hacker
once quiet, unnoticed retired, and to call him
still it was impossible. Eventually the other members
Editorial Board - Oscar, Faraon (Viktor Monakhov, he was playing
themes, and more was known as 'zhelezyachnik' by new model
CDOS-modem, which he developed and maintained in
maintenance and repair) - did not mind that I
actually taxied on the newspaper.

    I just want the newspaper to continue to live. And much 
thanks to whom or what she lives - most due to everyone: new 
members Editorial Board, who appeared later ('Goblin' - Alexey 
Antipov Spencer - Eugene Golyakov and others), and readers and 
authors, and just everything, because the community 
spektrumistov continuing live, creates events and news that can

IN> How long do you plan to deal with the release of NICRON'a?
What makes you deal with it the release? What
Now do you think the situation in the zine-scene at the zx? If 
you think a scene at the Spectrum in general?


WB> ZX-journalism, electronic and print media, what do you
callin 'zine-scene', for me there as something more
a single, important and very interesting. I try not to miss
a fresh issue of any newspaper, any magazine, and I,
probably succeed. All rooms are electronic press I store. I
this is interesting, and most importantly, that I 'make' to do
ZX-media. Until something happens in our community, Nicron will
out. I wish the same to other newspapers and magazines - 
success! 

IN> What do you think you can improve the quality of the press,

WB> I may be too optimistic or too little
self-critical, but I think in general everything is in order 
with our press. After all, what it means to 'improve'? It means 
change, and any newspaper, it is like a man in her own face, 
his character - people can change and "become a different

    If a newspaper published at least three or four editions, it
already has its own face. In all our newspapers and magazines 
have their own face.


    Not enough yet ... news. There used to be more :-). But
this harsh reality. Interestingly the same can even write about
poyntovku-booze:). Unlike an ordinary life, we always
positive balance of good news:). As a result, I can not
say anything about how to improve that, but sincerely wish
good news, and - so to keep.

IN> And now the question is more personal agenda. Here you do a 
newspaper. But do not consider themselves journalists. Or am I 
mistaken? 

WB> Most recently:). I have no special journalistic
education, but I aspire to work professionally. Not only
write beautifully, but, of course, comply with ethics, not to 
hurt rights. Newspaper, even virtual - no mail, no

ehokonferentsiya.

    Newspaper lives immeasurably longer. Intuitively or 
consciously, 'Weight' newspaper words much more than the 
significance of the words typed from the keyboard in passing. 
Therefore, much higher responsibility of the author.


IN> You were the organizer FunTop'98. Based on his experience
please share it with thoughts of the past festival of computer 
art CAFe'2oo2. Do you think the festival was a success or 
failed and what was your opinion clear oversight in the 
organization, and that the contrary was an original discovery 
of the organizers? 

WB> I was pleased, and I take this opportunity once again
express gratitude to the organizers. I was not able
attend the awards ceremony Winners
but in 2003 the final part of the festival will take place hours
at 15-16, will be just fine:). Yet Kazan not
Petersburg, the options left for Moscow is less to go
account within 17 hours. CAFe'2003 plan schedule so that

organizers :-).

IN> Are you going to next year to go to Kazan on a regular CAFe?

WB> I am going and looking forward to it!
