       from almost a year since died down Izhevsk festival of 
computer art ASCII (Alternative Spectrum Compo In

Izhevsk). I remember all of the hard, but

would be sacrilege. Therefore, considerably straining his mind 
and all sorts of hook or by crook reviving the memory event, 
for someone udavshegosya and for someone failed to oblivion and 
out of my life, the day I begin my modest story.


   Knowing in advance that such reports in
mostly boring and understood only
contemplating everything that happens with my own eyes, I'm 
probably not going to shift, writing vsevozmozhnye literary 
invective, and tell everything as it saw me.


   For me the festival began on April 27
about 10 o'clock in the morning with a phone call
chief organizer of the actions planned, Mr. Himik's ZxZ (offer
his nickname to change anything there:). As usual, with
unhappy note in her voice and a couple of
skvernoslovnyh vyrazheny (a common thing for
Real spektrumista:)) Himik practically ordered me to collect my 
zx-junk and waiting motorcade, which is my stuff taken away in 
an unknown direction. 

   Well, you know, throwing up, I
ran to twist the wire. 15 minutes later zapilikal phone, and in 
the tube again there was a "friendly" voice Himikos'a,

burknuvshy something like this (I quote):
"Open the door, ebans ..." It is a pity that he
immediately hung up the phone, otherwise I would know about
a lot of new:) (I almost did not hurt,
Rush needs of victims).

   Opening the door, I saw a waiting Sting'a, exchanged 
pleasantries with whom we dragged all my humble

property down to where there was a Jeep SUV
Izhevsk production of one of the organizers, who calls himself

should apologize for my somewhat
mocking the story: in other words, unfortunately, can not - not

   In the car were three: a Himikos, for
driving - Steep, and God forbid memory, CJ of the
Perm. Himik, lounging like a gentleman, waving his sotikom, and 
it all reminded me terribly CC'000 (although I was not there, 
but I read a lot), more accesible to Random'a

post party. Well, I, of course, after such associations lybu 
squashed all over her face and handed the instrument Steep'u,

SUV.

   After parting with my zx and gradually
starting to lose hope for his safe return, I said goodbye to 
this lovely group, which moved on to collect the equipment in 
the city. Well, I went back home to watch Mtv and meet the 
long-awaited get-together, a sign of many interesting things. 
Unfortunately, my Pentagon (more precisely, it was a computer 
Pix'a) never used, but the monitor

even very useful.

   As in the past year, the party place
yours truly took hold
well-known in Izhevsk (and maybe where
yet) Sting, bringing along with a
Monohrom'a and another friend. When
meeting at the appointed place, at the store
Old Jupiter, my question is, how many
people had already gathered, Sting happily announced that the 
full, and according to his conservative estimate, is already 
greater than it was in the past ASCII. I have this fact, of 
course, terribly pleased, although in reality, unfortunately, 
it turned out that calculations SG too modest as the visitors 
turned out to be an order of magnitude less than it was last 
year. In the first Day attended by slightly more than 40 people.


   On the way to the venue we met had already began to be merry 
combined Sarapulskaya-Neftekamsk delegation, which roamed the 
surrounding grocery stores in search of alcohol-containing 
essential oils (beer there, or another fiery liquid), and yet 
they needed the badges, which, apparently, and traded in the 
same "Old Jupiter." But mostly, I think

knows that the party without beer - money to
wind. All this again suggests the
thought that the measures planned to be
interesting and exciting.

   Already coming to the venue festivalya, I was very 
surprised: after all, in the rules talked about school, and 
looking at the building where was destined to happen all over, 
the first thing occurred to me - that the building of a 
kindergarten, and if not modest plakatiki on the window with 
the symbols of ASCII, I personally would just passed by.


   School is a small gray two-story building, with narrow dark
corridors and stairwells inside.
Assembly Hall (or maybe it was the gym)
in which everything had to happen to
its size was like a regular class,
but since the school was small and the assembly hall, shorty I 
was not surprised. 

   First of all, once inside the school,
we went into the dining room (by the way, in my estimation, a 
dining room was more of the assembly hall) where people sat 
eating and treated khalyavnykh (Coffee and noodles, quick 
cooking). Well and, of course, familiar to all persons with all

appeared in the doorway of the elite sceners Izhevsk, they are 
also co-sponsors and just handsome:), Eastman and Vage (think

retired.

   After sitting a little more with Merlin'om, I
there was a great desire to look at
party place. After a little searching cherished premise (and I 
found it not so quickly as we would like), I contemplated the 
place the second ASCII. Honestly,

saw it the way it was. Around the middle of the room one after 
another, separated by two rows of benches, there were two large 
television: one imported (it image was quite clear) and

organizers equipment and two huge speakers.

The equipment represented the two Pc and
a Spectrum, which then were displayed all the category. Behind 
one of the Pc Himik sat and took work. Process

reception of works lasted very long, several times Pc hangs and 
had to reload it. Since I'm in no hurry to donate its buggy 
intro, I decided to go outside, where breathing tobacco smoke 
and drink beer, almost all visitors. And, by the

same, RTD, the picture which I had placed
high hopes, has not appeared yet, and we must
was his catch on the street, as he
ignorance would be just slipped past the building,
not noticing the signs.

   On the street I met almost all of the
RGI, which zapasshis beer was still in
almost sober and interacted with people.

   A little later, somewhere emerged not just anybody, and the 
"great and terrible" Unbeliver surrounded by people. Still 
pretty confident standing on their feet, but judging by the 
face, not quite sober, Unbeliver began Kindle

his famous sceners. As it turned out
subsequently, such as ordinary boozer and chatterbox, like 
many, but not bad thinking and well-suspended (to the right 
place:) language. However, apparently this is the very thing

   Soon, the RTD, bringing with them
cherished image that I have not
able to see until the gfx-compo.

   Slowly but surely nearing
immediate onset of action, and almost
all the people crowded on the party-place. Someone handed work 
of someone just sitting there, and so on. Yielding to pressure 
from the Himika, I have handed over their ill-fated intro.


   Soon, people were asked to leave the premises in order to 
officially enter again, gaining a coveted admission ticket, 
vote-sheet and pen as a gift. Changing money on the ticket and

telling your nickname or what it replaces, Sting'u (who was 
trusted to produce a census of all visitors), people were 
inside. More poor people:) lay in wait for visitors to Survivor 
with the camera, demanding to say a few words about myself. 
Terrified people:), modestly downcast eyes, muttered

   When all their seats, Himik,
not leaving your computer, announced the start of the festival, 
and gone-gone. First, As usual, it was music compo. It was 
quite a good job. All works were played by three minutes. After 
listening work is asked to set a score obtained at the entrance 
of vote-sheet. Vote-sheets were decorated simply, but 
tastefully: no unnecessary frills.


   After graduating from music compo (original and
copy) was adjourned, and the people flee to the affairs and 
dealings. 

   Gfx compo also brought a lot of quality work. Very often my 
hand draws the maximum score (five) of a different picture. In 
a word, and this match showed a good level of Artists on the 
zx-platform. Of course, it turned out, the leading places were 
progressive artists zx-scenes - those who have long been known 
for quality of their work, however, and our RTD has taken an 
honorable fourth place, had not got just two points, to be 
among the top three. 

   In the 16k intro and demo compo were only
two works. They were not the best, but
important - were.

Unfortunately, some individuals are too

school building has been canceled.

for counting. All those who wished
submitted their vote-sheets, and began grueling wait. Each 
whiled away the time differently. Someone wrote software, 
someone relaxed to the music, while others went for a walk.


  We RTD, Sinus'om, Sarapulsky
(Unlimited Land Group) and Neftekamsk
(Moderation) guys have done recently.
Having strayed a bit, went into a nearby courtyard
and settled down to listen to soulful songs
performed by Dj Max'a, whose singing has attracted

  After a while we all gathered and began announcement of the 
winners. Offensive was the fact that all the first prizes in 
all categories except the 16k intro, took the Permian

received an incentive prize and songster Dj Max:). 

  All prizes are distributed to all states and people
began to diverge.

  The second day was held at the "mechanics",

   On the whole festival was normal;
spoiled by all that many abused
alcohol, and it is unacceptable for such
activities.
