             MUSIC IN THE CP / M



     This article provides an overview of programs that are 
used to extract the sounds under CP / M. Let's start with a 
program that came into my hands first.

     The program, in principle, not bad. However, this
more player, rather than a music editor. The advantage, 
perhaps, is the fact that it works. :) About the shortcomings 
of more ... 

     ADJ requires that the memory hung WINDOWS
(Enemies wet softerov hasten to reassure, a graphical interface 
to CP / M). Which increases the download time. And also, 
significantly slows down the program. 

     To play a file format, STM,
it must be convertible utility (this utility traders

     Even in turbo mode the quality leaves much to be desired.

     Very nice program. At the moment
this is the only musical editor for CP / M. Moreover, the 
editor format STM. 

     Let's start with appearance:

     Convenient windowed interface (which is pleasing to note, 
not slow). 

     Possible to load your background image.
It should be in the format. SCR. Utility GRF> SCR
is on the disk with the editor.

     At the bottom of the screen a list of used
keys in this mode.

     In:

     The program works with the formats of STM and ADJ.
No conversion is not necessary. SM allows you to write
and compile the file format of STM. Moreover, this
