              (Part Four)

     Wait! Began DEMO COMPO ... The first was
shown deme BOOM by ETC GROUP. Again summed
floppy deme chipped, but the second time everything went OK. On 
most Deme say nothing: it was on level, not more. Just outright 
"kill" the work of UFO GROUP Kharkiv - GARLIC RESPIRATION. In 
addition to sludge plasma and DOOM'a 8x8 in Deme more general 
than it was to watch. Incidentally, any, even terrifying Screw 
plasma, Hall met with a horrible disapproval. It was very 
disappointing for Kharkov. People bored. Some recovery has demo 
ADRENALIZE by GLOBAL. She looked nice in the same breath, but

applause. Many rendering, 3D-effects. Just hit all the views of 
the city with the passing clouds. The demo looked, people 
moving away from the shock, all prophesy DR first place, and on 
the monitors is frank sucks. Watch MORBID VISIONS after

FOREVER nobody wants. In addition, the demo, the whole
appears to have had awfully tight (if not zakoltsovanoy), and 
after several minutes of repeated effects, someone broke down 
and clicked on the Reset. Braves applauded. Another couple of 
demos, and a thirteenth number (lucky the same person) on video 
monitors flashing line "VAV PRESENT". Again animation in the 
hall. After a steep slaughter 4K INTRO about EXPLODER'e (that 
is VAV'e) somehow forgotten, although it was rumored that he 
wrote DeMouy already 5 months, and its 4K INTRO - just a small 
part complete the work. So, they all look REFRESH by

VAV. Again, applause, applause, cheers. It becomes clear that 
Artie from DR has yet to spend some time on tenterhooks. 
Several effects of repeated 4K INTRO, the demo was short - 2-3 
minutes, but terribly dynamic and spectacular. Cheap effects 
and "cake" was not, but seen on the screen is impressive and 
shocking. Final ... Thunderous applause! All the guessing about 
who will win ... In the case shown CRAZY LOVE by POWER GROUP. 
Dema is clearly inferior to the leaders in all respects, it 
looks pretty nudnovato. People continued to quietly discuss 
what he saw before ... 

     By the fifteenth number was announced deme
from ANTARES from Moscow. But ... guys again no luck. According 
to them, they have burned 2 (!) Computer (Incidentally, the 
second time) and the demo did not have time to collect. So we 
decided to demonstrate use: intro and a few parts ... And it

PENTIUM II, with an awesome video card. We have tried it have

 - Clean your opinion: the Spectrum, as such, the future is?
 - Two months ago I sold my Spectrum and sit at a PENTIUM 200,

emulation. In the FIDO Spectrum now found a new life,

from Spectrum situation in general ... At FUNTOP it all people

     After talking with a colleague, we went to the MMA,
standing alone against the wall:

 - FUNTOP - he is FUNTOP. At first it was just terrible, he 
told me terribly much, but it is much better ENLIGHT'a. Very 
sensibly, surprisingly. There was no time to go and get drunk.

 - What MUSIC COMPO ...;)
 - Of course, we went, but the desire has been suppressed.
Room is small enough. Our deme went well, at least, nothing is 
buggy, and people reacted quite rapidly in places where it was 
intended. If we now study the third place, I'm happy. Demo - 
the only nomination, where we participated. If it came 
BEEERMANS'y and there was no DIGITAL REALITY, it is very likely 
that All three places were taken to EXTREME, it would be very

fiercely, but here DR. Generally, that party was good, there 
should be such fierce comrades as MAYHEM from Tula to demoy and 
E-MAGE from Grodno, also with demoy. More preferably the 
presence AVALON'a. Very pleased with the guys from Penza. This 
is the only the new one who can express themselves.

 - E-MAGE also recently appeared ...
 - But there! Their CONDOMED - a fountain, a
Digital aggression some.
 - A 4K INTRO?
 - It's a very strange components. As I expected,
had a lot of work. Many decided that there is no
need a schedule, someone decided that we should not listening,
that you can get away with silence or envelope, issued in the 
coprocessor. Many people do not understand because they do not 
never seen this anywhere. And those who understand ... There 
were four good work: VAV, NEVER by ETERNITY INDUSTRY, DIZZY, 
and another work, I do not remember. These People understand 
exactly what it is and very good quality is used.  - But DIZZY 
walked in silence ...  - Whatever. This is a very good thing. 
But all shocked, of course, VAV. Although he reiterated his 
DeMouy, he 4K appropriate so much and so aggressively is 
presented, and yes even the music ... All this very cool.

waited. : (Time went by, the people roared as the official
results have not been. We were forced to leave
91 school, without knowing the results of the festival ...
We left terribly tired, not enough sleep, but very
satisfied. After all, such things take place every day,
and could be more active spektrumistam. Looking at the wall 
with the leaves, we noticed a fat inscription marker: 

            "FUNTOP - RULEZZZ!!!"

PS: Going down the steps of the school, we met
A few people from the organizing committee. Talked a little, 
and, at parting, one of them said that next year FUNTOP should 
be held in Tula, so in Moscow is very expensive, and not far 
from the Tula capital. They all laughed. Already leaving
