BLOB the COP - Text of the inner game firms Players to Hacker.
(C) Andy Severn / Players / England (W) D-Man/EI (C) literary translation by Paracels / EI - [Abstract ]--------------------------------------------- ----- Much time has passed since then, as D-Man discovered this text, digging in the guts of the game company called Players BLOB THE COP. He intended for the curious hacker who for just the opinion of the author Andy Severn'a game should have been necessarily get into the code. For us, this text was interesting discoveries. For a long time D-Man urged all to translate the manuscript into Russian to make it available to the public in the pages of Buzz. Only now is it headway. Immediately apologize for such a free literary translation, but it started to read it much more interesting than the dry and literal, the more so because no fact or event in the translation is not distorted! I had to work hard in the translation of slang, but zakonchiblagopoluchno. I hope to read this text you will be as interesting as I do. Some explanations: JABBA - friend Andy Severn'a, who drew the graphics for the game; Cheshire and Hampshire - Eng. version of the Cheshire 'Hampshire, if I remember correctly, this is - parts of England; Sinclair User - Spectrum magazine themes, electronic he or printed - is hard to say. -------------------------------------------------- ------------- If you came across a hidden message that not shown in the game, it means only one thing - you break the code part. God you know why, but ... If you or Ian Stingray - HELLO! (I knew that finds itself here your nose and you will find a little history connected with this little game ...) ... Work on it I started ages ago, so just know that out of all this can happen. Just at that time, I just got my favorite PDS system (Programmers Development System). After a couple of days, to light a monster under the working title PLURPS! For the time I put my child away in the smallest and darkest corner of your hard disk and have not seen him for some time. The game had no name, no meaning, but using tucked case, we decided to give it in some magazine, but due to an excess of junk like the game was useless. Gripped me gloom disappeared suddenly ... with call from the magazine Sinclair User (hereinafter SU - approx. per.) and words that they are interested in my game. In light of all that I simply had to finish it, and after much razdumyvany I called my game BLOBOCOP, implying a parody of the game firm OCEAN - ROBOCOP. In fact, I never saw this game, but had heard that my BLOBOCOP has some similarities with her. So we sent the final version of the game in the SU, but they did not fit. Subsequent then remake suffered the same a terrible fate. Then, back on December 23 of Saufemtona (Apparently, Southamton - a town in England - approx. Per.) to pick up a brand-new synthesizer JABB'y D50 (I, too, hard thing!), I made a prank caller Advent, which consisted of drunks shouting: "you're in deep shit ..."," OCEAN sold Sinclair User ... " etc., etc. Soon after the caustic insinuation I was asked to interrupt their Christmas "vacation" and make a 28-th of foul journey from Cheshire to in Hampshire, in order to "just diminished his ambitions." So suddenly ended my prolonged booze! But could have a good rest from the attacks of thousands of hourly cousins cousins cousins who are in prison the right place! (;-)))) - Approx. trans.) Dreaming is not harmful ... I hope you are all well met the Christmas and New Year. A couple of hours I go back to Cheshire, to re-enjoy interrupted fun! See ya ... Andy Severn ('e7) - [Original ]---------------------------------------------- ------ This is a hidden message that isn't displayed in the game If you are reading this then you are obviously hacking the code apart. God knows why though ... Oh if you are either Ian or Stingray then HI! (Thought Id find you two noseing about in here! Theres a bit of a story attached to this little gamette ... Ages ago when I got my lovely PDS (Programmers Development System) I started writing this just to see what it could do. In a couple of days this monstrosity had been born, under the working title of PLURPS! I stuffed it away in a dark little corner of my hard disk for a while and little morewas ever seen of it. It didnt have a name or a plot. But at the show we decided to offer it to the mags, they all said they had loads of stuff so didnt want it. Then suddenly out of the blue SU phoned and said they were interested so I then HAD to finish it. After many long lunchtimes thought, I came up with the name BLOBOCOP, intending the name to be a parody of OCEANS ROBOCOP. I had never actually seen the game and have been told that this bears quite a resembelance to ROBOCOP. Well, we send the completed master off to SU who saw fit to loose it. The replacement met the same horrible fate. THEN on the 23rd of December, having just got back from Southamton to collect JABBAs new D50 synth (What a poser huh) I made a spectacular entrance to the pre xmas doo drinkies to the shouts of 'youre in deep trub ...' 'OCEAN are going to SUE ... ' etc etc ... After a severe tongue lashing I was asked to interrupt my xmas break and make the grueling journey from Cheshire to Hampshire on the 28Th 'just to fix the bits' Well, bang go my heavy boozing sessions!! Ah well it makes a nice rest from being jumped on day and night by thousands of delinquent second generation cousens!! Ah well, ya can always dream ... Hope you have all had a smashing Xmas and a GREAT new year. I'm back off to Cheshire in a few hours to re-join the merriment!!! See ya all .... Andy Severn ('e7)
