   Today there will be about creating music with digitized 
sound with Program Instrument 3.01. Digitization of sound sound 
more realistic than usual sound, such as in SoundTracker'e. 
Still, the digitized sound has some disadvantages that narrow 
its Use:

1. While playing a melody

       Creating a composition.



   Necessary equipment and
Software:

 - ZX-SPECTRUM 128K with a floppy drive, a musical co-processor
AY-3-8910/12.
 - INSTRUMENT 3.01 with a set of
samples to him.

ringtones.

familiar with the music editor
ASM.



   Manufacturing tunes in ASM.



   The first thing you must download ASM. Next, go to 
ASM-editor of the samples labeled option SM. XX (not to be 
confused ASM-samples from INS-samples!) need to create 7 
arbitrary samples with numbers

1 to 7. Samples should not be
identical, their structure depends on your taste. In the 
future, if you convert, ASM-samples are replaced by 
INS-samples. You can also (but not necessarily) enter into an 
editor ornament (option IM. XX), to make some ornaments. They 
are required only for convenience in creating compositions 
ASM'e and no plays no essential role. 

   After manufacturing of samples and
ornaments they need to write to
ASM-disk format as the melody, but
not as separate samples. This
file can be used in the future when you write the following
compositions.

   The next stage - is to write melodies ASM'e. Details
dwell on this, I will not. Let me just say a few remarks and 
restrictions:  1. The range of compositions have

be no more than 4 octaves. This is due to the peculiarities 
Instrument'a. The most common period - is LARGE, SMALL, 1-ST and

2-ND octave.
 2. You can not use the command
PORT, GLIS, SPEED, etc. They will ignororovatsya converter
Instrument'a.
 3. Pause (PSE) maintains its
action and Instrument'e.
 4. It is advisable to use
only 7 made samples and any number of ornaments.


   After making tracks
it should be written to disk ASMformata for the possibility of 
further debugging. Then, entering the ASMCOMPILER, compile the 
resulting melody and record it on TR-DOS disk. The process of 
creating completed.




          Convert.



   After a successful write to disk
compiled file, it is necessary
Download Instrument 3.01. Entering
a menu of disk operations (icon in the form of a floppy disk), 
choose option Import ASM block. Using it, download the file 
created with composition. Table appears

   Top of the table is
a series of numbers from 0 to 31. They are samples ASM'a. Near
Each of the numbers, separated by a colon
is a number from 0 to 7, a dash,
or nothing. The figure indicates the number of INS-sample.

Instrument'a. If you were writing a composition in ASM

on the above described method, the

INS-sample number 0 is not involved.

   In the lower third of the screen is a list of octaves ASM'a. 
Similarly, the table of samples, here through the colon are an

A dash also appears when
track is not located in the LARGE, SMALL, 1-ST-ND and 2 octaves

On each instrument reserved for 16384 bytes. But the second and
7th samples are placed in areas of the fourth and fifth 
samples, respectively. It turns out that the pair samples (4 
and 6, 5 and 7) goes to only 16384 bytes. Because of this

placed first. For debugging

CONVERSION TABLE, and will therefore be wise to keep a table on

   And finally, when the instruments are chosen, you

product. Now we just need to write the track on the disc
option "SAVE TUNE".
