Group 'MEGADETH' ('Mass destruction')
was formed in 1983 in USA.
Initial composition:
Dave Mustaine, git., Wok.;
Dave Ellefson, bass;
Lee Rash, ud.
In April 1983, immediately after leaving
of 'Metallica', Dave Mustaine assembled
group 'Fallen Angel', which included Bobby Kromuell (bass) and
Mick Leznik (sp.). Six months later, this group disbanded, D.
Mustaine recruit new musicians (see the original composition),
and April 17, 1984, entitled 'MEGADETH' (hereinafter 'M') team
debut in a club in San Francisco. In May 1985 the band
released their debut album of the firm Combat Records. Very
original copyrighted material benefit stressed the thrash
version of the old hit Nancy Sinatra's' Comfortable road shoes.
"By this time the group has changed a bit, 'M' turned into a
quartet, as well as the 'fifth member' 'M' now figured someone
'Vic' - a cute skeleton in helmets and carrying automatic
weapons, which became symbol groups such as' Eddie 'y' IRON
MAIDEN '.
After successful tours across the U.S. with King
Diamond and groups such as the 'Exciter'
and 'Death Angel', the company invited Capitol
'M' a record a second album.
This EP was released in 1986, after

the group declared it 'the best in the history of heavy

The next disc 'M' was the first to the really serious work of
the group. Recorded and mixed in between tour 1987 disc "So far
so good alright ... So what? " became the 'gold' in just three
weeks, entered the American Top 30, and settled in England in
18 th place. The single 'Anarchy in the UK'
- The old famous hit 'Sex Pistols' -
entered the British Top 40.
This album showed that musicians are able to successfully work
out the stylistic framework of trash - it turned out that the
'M' not alien to the melody and lyrics.
Beginning in 1988 g.proshlo tour with 'Dio',
'Warlock' and 'Sanctuary' (a 1987 album
the latter was produced by D. Mustaine). But the main event of
the year was the performance of 'M' at the popular festival
'Monsters of Rock' in Castle Donington. In late 1988 a group of
left the second guitarist - at that time
it was the Jeff Young - who has recreated
his former band 'Broken Silence'.
Having replaced the drummer, 'M' recorded a new
Alice Cooper's version of the song 'No More Mr Nice
Guy ', which was included in the soundtrack horror film'
Shocker '. After as appeared in the gitaris virtuoso
Marty Friedman, the band recorded an album
called 'Rust In Peace', which noted
not only to fans of the group, but the organizing committee's
most prestigious competition record of U.S. firms: the end of
the year 'M' received for the record prize 'Grammy' that can
rasstsenivat as a genuine breakthrough in the trash serious
music market.

What can I say about this band? This
cool, even very cool. If you metalworker
I advise you to buy yourself a few albums and concert
'YOUTHANASIA' you have to buy a mandatory basis - guarantee you
good music, you will not regret! If possible I would like to
buy all albums MEGADETH'a, but so far they have me
only three (the above Discography
certainly not complete - for the years 1991-96
happened at least three discs: YOUTHANASIA, collection of the
best tracks and MEGABEST More one whose name I'm rusty,
as heard from him just one song.)
