   Today I have prepared for you another
article with an interesting shemkoy for Spectrum,
called "light gun".


   Unfortunately, this is not my own
development, but only a split of classified and
little-known scheme is very wide community
interesting gadgets for our beloved
Spectrum. But I also spent some mental and material costs for
that you could quite easily
assemble the device yourself prepared me for description. I

this miracle of technology suddenly disappeared from our 
Mitinskoe radio market, and many Moscow (and not only)

circuits, and the whole the marking of chips and components was

just simply erased. But I decided to repeat the scheme of the 
gun and tell about it for everyone to have it at home.



   After work I have successfully
fabricated several of these pistols and everything works fine. 
And play with this gun is much more interesting than the same 
in principle, all known video deck Dandy. The fact is that 
Spectrum aiming accuracy, hitting almost reaches up to + / - 1 
pixel screen, and therefore need to aim for all rules with 
flies. And so on called Dandy 100 points out of 100 can

beat a blind man (and it does not
joke). Therefore, a pistol on the Spectrum much cooler!

   Some technical data received from the accompanying 
description: Power supply - battery "Krona", 9c (located in the 
handle of a pistol.) Range Fire - from 0,2 up to 4 m. Output - 
open collector. Rate - up to 5 rounds per second. The brightness

glow of the screen for confident shooting from
2 m - not less than 100 cd/m2. Accuracy is at a distance of 2 m 
when using a TV with a diagonal of 51 cm + / - 1cm. Connect the 
gun to various kinds of Kempston joystick. Connection carried 
out by four wires different colors:



    Green - 1-th output trigger buttons

    White - 2-th output trigger buttons

    red - the output data

    Blue - 9 in the charts

   Of course, you can reduce the number of outgoing wires up to 
3, but will lose the ability to use different types of 
joysticks. Structurally, the scheme is going to a small shawl,

         AMPLIFIER ARRANGEMENT FOR ADC


   I want to suggest another shemku designed for use with
my ADC scheme previously published. Who
successfully repeated my scheme of the ADC must
noticed that for the digitization of the signals must be 
submitted to the ADC input signal of high amplitude (0.8-10c.), 
mainly from the power amplifier. And as you know, from the 
amplifier output power signal get distortion (interference), 
resulting in path gain. To get rid of

the use of a power amplifier, I propose to collect a small 
voltage amplifier input, which I use with this scheme the ADC. 
Also, this power allows you to connect electret microphone for 
compact voice recording (like SOUND BLASTER). Structurally, the 
amplifier is going on board the ADC, because has fewer 
components for assembly (only 4 / 6 parts). 


To connect the amplifier circuits of the ADC
you must remove the resistor 4.7 ohm with
input circuit. Now the scheme:
