ZX-FORMAT: How did you first hear
Spectrum?

Nikolai Rodionov: One time I
a whole year he lived with his grandparents in Yugoslavia. 
That's where I tried first time to work

on Spectrum'e.

ZF: Where do you start when
faced with this machine?

HP: I had read the literature. Then it was on
English. Had to translate. From these books, I typed the first 
programs. That's right, through the thorns, was trying to break

to the stars.

ZF: What prompted you to write programs and reference materials 
for Spectrum? 

HP: In the market (the market was still
located opposite the "Young Science") had some translated,
low-quality brochures
Spectrum'u. The information in them,
often been fragmented and inaccurate. I tried to somehow 
improve the situation. Program wrote, because I wanted to 
write, apply somewhere their knowledge.

HP: My grandparents live
in Moscow. I was there too often

now.

the programmers of those times. 

ZF: At one time you worked with Dimitri Mikhailov. Then
You went to the IBM PC, but it is on Amiga. You will not regret

IBM PC?

time? Go to the theater, movies?

HP: None. Free time I spend on the computer. There is always
