VIP - Interview with David Brabenom c, author of the great game Elite.
You all know that is Scenergy one of the detainees projects stage. So this interview was conducted in August 1997. Almost two years! But do not worry, we finally learn the truth about Raxxla;] David Brabo fans Spectrum Game is known for having one of the two authors of the great Elite, but it amizhniki remembered for not less than exciting continuation of this game: Frontier. David also wrote the original Brabo toy Virus, and he recently created his own own company, Frontier Developments Ltd. Now his company is probably already has released some new games, but still PC does not interest us? Interview with David Brabenom. (?) When and how did you meet computers, and how is it that you to focus on creating games? I became interested in computers when I was 17. It was sometime in 1981. I started on the Acorn Atom. (?) What was your first big game project? "Elite". The game was launched in 1982, and released in 1984 on a computer BBC Micro. (?) "Elite" was a revolutionary new game market for eight-bit programs. As you think that gave her such a success? It is very different from other games of time, and besides, she was apparently, the first 3D game. (?) What prompted you to about 10 years to continue the idea of "Elite" Game "Frontier" on the Amiga / PC / ST?
