Recently, a whole bunch of
ASSEMBLE0B (hereinafter possibly 'asei') for programming in
machine code (and BASIC). Those people who are just starting out
programmed can drown in a sea of various...ASMs, where they
will be eaten by crocodiles. Especially for them I will try to give
subjective and unreliable information on these programs,
so that each samovar can choose an ASSEMBLE. Just don't
you should take everything to heart...

It’s not that it’s not real, but it’s somehow, to put it mildly, lousy...
(remember RASKMAN and K○). I did not write reference data for several reasons.
For example, because some of them are liars and wear clean
promotional in nature and can be easily read in the relevant
help'akh (also deceitful and vile).

So let's get started:

Or the already fixed glitch about merge:

totally worthless. There is a lot for other assemblers to learn here. When

We are not cut out for it, and we will hit with a proven means: 0UT (#FD), A.

For some reason, merge needs to be spelled. Free memory under

SET-UP is very convenient, butthere's not much way to get rid of it there
a lot... And the fact that when released to STS, PC stands on your creation,

ASSEMBLE0B!!!
It seems to assemble faster due to the 'original'
single pass, but it does not throw some errors. Moreover
the author himself admitted that there are shortcomings. Help has a lot of features
so many useful things, only these things will be in the next version
ALASMA'a. Apparently the author came up with all sorts of bells and whistles, but when
I couldn’t do more than half, so I left it for the next ones
versions.
In my opinion, it is not convenient when, before doing anything,
You have to press ENTER all the time, it takes time. But of course
some might say that this is on purpose so that you don't accidentally
press. Well, okay, I don’t argue, sometimes I press “reset” by mistake
instead of 'a', but make this confirmation disabled in
SET-UP!

ZX-ASM 3 is a very convenient window interface, close to
ZX-W0RD'oshny, the ability to use as a text
editor (if you need text 42character in the string, and if not
if necessary, then the ZX-W0RD is many times better). SET-UP with unloading too
not bad, 9 fonts on disk at once, most of which are not
disassemble... To the printer The whole menu is highlighted, although what’s what,
I don't understand, I don't have it. Selecting the file again by letter, authors,
probably tried to teach people how to press keys, pump up
muscles on the programmers' poor fingers. Generally a cool ASIC, but
clearly designed for the user (they say, look how convenient it is
type programs!). Moreover, in the description I saw something like:
~...for users...~ I got the impression that
the authors first of all came up with the interface, and only then
appendage' attached a rather weak ASSEMBLE, and a hybrid with
text editor.
And I have advice to all ASSEMBLE0B makers: do not write to
help that your product is the best, if no one else is
thinks, or only lamers from the next trash heap think so.

MASM 1.1 is an ASSEMBLE from Kharkov, and it shows...
Let's start with the glitches:
- if you have HALT in your program, but no EI, then Masm can
crouch.- Printer v 1.tormoz will give you an excellent opportunity to admire -
like the lines of a drunken coder (you) are formed smoothly and beautifully
in your brain into a holistic picture.
- glitches that Shor Kan wrote about (I didn’t check them - so
I believe...).
 - disk operations are too slow (for me).
- glitches are required, payment in rubles, the work is not hard.
Well, firstly, it was my favorite ASSEMBLE, before it appeared
XAS (special mention will be made about it). The controls are so simple and
It’s so easy that you don’t even need to read the description. Speed
assembly has already been beaten, but happiness is not in the speed... What
Everything works with one keystroke, which makes me most happy. Not
you have to hold your fist over the 'ENTER' button and, sweating profusely, think
Whether to press this lever or not. If the author makes a printable
faster and will fix all (?!) glitches, then you can consider this pro-
product is the best of ASSEMBLE0B.

XAS is the most convenient ASIC today for beginners and not
only for them. 42 characters per line is nice, especially since
There is nothing to compare with Alasmov’s 42-character character (at Alasma -
full shit). Controls without 'ENTER' are absolutely gorgeous, but
Autotabulation is a great thing. If an error is found when
in assembly, it highlights the line with Color and is immediately visible. Enter
remarks to the program are indispensable for programmers suffering
sclerosis and alcoholism. Files, thank God, are selected
stripe and loading/unloading is faster. Working with HEX and DEC
systems in the catalog and other places increases convenience
ASSEMBLY. The assembly speed is somewhere between Alasm and
Masmom, which is not bad at all. Unfortunately, there are also troubles
More precisely, there are no certain amenities. For example, Merge'pa, really?
was it difficult to do?!?! No search with replacement, that too
Surprisingly, glitches appear sometimes (for me twice),
generally inexplicable scientifically. The interface is not Tasmovsky, what
makes it difficult to switch from Tasma or Masma to Xas. Large
the disadvantage is its location in memory, and connect
new STS so that it works COMPLETELY without glitches, problems
matically.

Gluing. If, God forbid, the thought occurred to you that I
tried to get you to change your mind about
ASSEMBLE0B, or promote the purchase of one of them when you have

I haven't seen a fancy assembler. Everything seems normal, like

You’ll crawl out from under the computer barely alive, with a trembling, weakened hand.
you reach for a 'reset' to stop this whole nightmare!!! Well
What, are you scared?! That's it, you'll know how to program in
assembler. Writing codes is not cleaning the sewer.
And for those who are on the armored train, and who did not understand anything,
I advise you to write programs in GENS or Pascal. By the way, about
GENS! In one of the St. Petersburg books an explanation was written,
something like this:

- GENS is an unsurpassed assembly language translator,
considered in all respects to be a professional system pro-
gram for writing serious gaming commercial products
like ELITE, the best toy of the decade, etc., etc.So draw conclusions or let the hordes of drunken system
coders tear you apart with their hands and feet to force you
write you in their new ASSEMBLE, especially if you
You understand programming like a dead man in refrigerators.

Well, now I’ll give a speech!!!

In short, I read this documentation and you know, I agree with almost everything
written by respected hackers NISK and D00M, oddly enough
I agree, but there is one “but”...
In my opinion, ASIC (cool expression) needs to be selected once and
forever, at least for as long as possible while working, since I
We are familiar with the situations when a person writes in one language, and then
jumps to another one, all his texts come out on the old ASMA
lost, well, of course there are all sorts of transcoders, and
disassemblers, but this is already inconvenient...
I think the most normal ASIC is TASM 4.0 from XLD, quite
cool thing, by the way, I don’t type the file name character by character
I consider it a decisive argument in choosing an ASIC. TASM 4.0 and convenient
inwork and has good opportunities, for example saving
registers separated by commas: PUSН НL, DE, ВС, AF
                          P0P AF, BC, DE, NL
Or work in a binary number system, some ASICs do not
can work in a binary system. In TASM 4.0 I noticed one
the only serious glitch is at the end of the line (128 characters), if
press ENTER, it will be reset. I didn't notice anything else
fatal, which cannot be said about MASM.
Well, you can safely throw the ZX-ASM assembler to the lamers
garbage, let them learn to fuss with buttons. By the way, me too
they pin up inscriptions like “asm for users”, in my opinion if
call the person who writes in the application program a user, he is very
will be offended, since ASMA employs at least hackers and at most
professional coders. But users launch ASICs only for
in order to jump around with the cursor, or presumably what it is
text game...
Here on IBM you can safely call everyone a user, since
programming there comes down to typing a program into, say,
Pascal, and then compile it into machine. code. More details
this shit is written about in the article “hitting” in the same issue.
