sq/skrju:
This year "Scream" turns 10 years old. We decided to celebrate this anniversary
Quite peculiar - they took and revived the magazine. However, is it a magazine or
newspaper - let everyone decide for themselves, because there has always been a line between them
very conditional.
Who are we?
We are the Krik team. A team made up of those who care. This is skrju,
tbk+4d, cpu, simbols. Diver, sq, nq, siril, riskej, pulsar, alff, poisoned
cyberjack is us.
Why are we doing this?
I would like to answer this question with the words of the Offence team from c64: "The scene
lacks love, so we return to bring it." Today, doing something on
Spectrum, you don’t have to count on any feedback at all, about
adequacy is not worth even dreaming of. Authors are exhibited at parties and do not receive
not a single review of my work. From now on everything will be different. We will do
reviews of all works from all past parties, as well as provide the opportunity
anyone who wants to speak out. In addition to reviews, which will occupy the main
place, among our articles there will definitely be reports, interviews, and
reflections. In general, everything will be as usual. Just like the good old days ten
years ago.
The two most painful and pressing issues: regularity and multilingualism
I'll start with the second one. We, of course, would really like for Scream to be released on
in two languages, but we don’t have that option yet. Our level of proficiency
insufficient to write immediately in English. And write in Russian and then
Translating is currently problematic. So if you are ready to help
us with translations from Russian into English and vice versa - please contact
us. We all need this.
As for the first one, of course, we won’t promise anything one by one
The only reason is not to deceive anyone's expectations. However, we can
to assure you that if suddenly there was some party in which they participated
Spectrum works - that means in a few days there will be "Scream".
Another good news is that Scream will now be available online.
It will be located at http://krik.skrju.com.
And finally, why is this issue of the magazine the eleventh?
Because 11 is two units.
If you would like to write to us, please write to sq.skrju@gmail.com or
diverХd@gmail.com. Write to us for any reason. Especially if you have
article, or if you can help with translations.
Love the Spectrum, love the demoscene and the people - and do good. They all find it very
necessary. Especially Spectrum.
diver/4d:
Well hello, demoscene!
I address this journal to all those who stilldoes something. Who's looking forward
parties or individual releases. Who looks at pouet.net, artcity, zx-art in
searching for new works and feedback on old ones. For those who miss Spectrum
press. For those who are interested in the process of creating demoscenes, demosounds and demographics
on zx.
We are all alive and we will never leave.
riskej/smb/retroworks/samar prod:
Welcome to the most exciting Speccy magazine of the recent years!
Krik 11 is here. Krik 11 is yours, for you and about you. After about 2 years
of the ZX Spectrum press silence We have a chance to give a breath of fresh air
for all who wait and believe.
Our media are focusing on delivering feedback to the speccy public, to creators
and users, to those who are involved in the scene.
Speccy scene is alive, no doubts, but let's make it even richer and more
interesting. It's our world, our computer and our scene. Feel it and retain in
the memory.

For me, working on the cry and the very fact of its appearance is quite natural and
expected (after all, we are doing the same thing we were doing 10 years ago). There was no
numbers for a certain period for a variety of reasons, but this does not mean that
nothing to say. Therefore, I am sincerely glad that the tradition of forming thoughts is again
takes the long-favorite form of electronic publications :)
siril/4d:
Have you ever wanted something? What about wanting to want? Experience the state when
want to want, not as unforgettable as want to want to want
(remembering those blessed days when you just wanted to want). Not
I doubt there are deeper forms of subpassionary torpor. Interesting
are they? Does the process of emerging from them form a looping, recursive pattern on the face?
scenes? Will it add up to something meaningful from the tropospheric time heights? Bye
we can only draw by controlling our desires. And their incarnations.
