Multimedia - I think many of you, dear readers, have repeatedly asked the question: “Why is there still no CD on the Spectrum?”

    I think many of you, dear readers, have asked more than once
question: “Why is there still no CD on the Spectrum?”...
Yes, why?.. But this is a very real gadget! ;) and
Absolutely any spektrumist can connect a CD_ROM! u without
all sorts of modifications to the computer, layout of unmeasured boards, writing
special software.  none of this for connecting the CD to
No Speccy required! :)                                                                
    But even here there are drawbacks, and very significant ones!
first of all, you will not be able to work with the CD from your favorite
tR_DOS'a... :( ) ha!.. but more on that below.                   
                                                                
                                                                
    So, you have purchased CD_ROM. no matter how many speeds it has,
as long as it works ;) First connect it to the power supply
/naturally, a power supply from the PC is desirable, it is more powerful than ours, plus it has
in theory there should be an already installed power supply for the CD/,
then you can safely start connecting it to zx. :)         
                                                                
    And it’s even easier than connecting a CD to a power supply ;) simple
stick it into the container!  Naturally for this you
you'll have to spend a little time preparing the CD<>zx cord, but
I think it won't cause big problems and won't take much time

    So, you have connected the CD.  What's next??? And then here's
what: buy yourself a blank blank / I especially like Mirex
and tDk, these are flat, the box is not much thicker than itself
blanks / and run to a familiar PC at whose home / or
work, or... in general, the main thing is to find it! / worth a CD-R / writer
CD/.  then dial Spectrum software. The software must be
ONLY in .tap format /no other way yet/.  Next to you
It's going to be a hard job to digitize it and put it into .wav
format.  after you haveit turned out to be quite a .wav folder
files, they need to be glued into one big one! And then it’s time
techniques: just write off this immeasurable .wav for yourself.
and do not forget that the disc must be written OnlY as AuDIO!!!     
                                                                
    and here, the treasured disc /still hot :)/ is in your hands.
Run home and drop it into the CD/connected to
Spectrum of coz/. That's it, the disk is in place. All that remains is to launch
something from the software and see if it works?.. hehe! Yes
where will he go!!!                                              
                                                                
    Go to basic /or to the _tare loading_ option, whatever/
type: lOAD ""                                              
                                                                
    now we just have to wait for the colorful ones to pass
stripes on the border, the splash screen will load, and then the game itself

    Well, you probably already realized that this method of reading from a CD
not much different from reading from a magnetic tape. but there is a lot
benefits!Firstly: where did you see the CD on Speccy? :)))
u secondly: you don’t have to worry about setting up the head and
be afraid that the disk will jam now! u about speed compatibility
disk and tape, don’t worry, everything is OK.                   
 as you can see, connecting a CD to the Spectrum will not cost any
problems.   u in addition you can with ossified FINGERS
