    1980-1987 - perhaps referring to the famous
dissident and physicist Andrei Sakharov:



          "The tyrant intercepted the prophet's letters,
           To open them with an insidious and cruel hand,
           But know this: impunity is cursed by fate,
           And a bold thought will not go away."



    1980 - assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II by
Muslim extremist.

    1980-1988 - painful Iran-Iraq war:



          "Bad news comes from Persia,
           Everything there is under the rain, robbery, war."



    1981 - Nostradamus's worst prediction for
humanity:



    "7 (in another passage - 5) new diseases will appear, which
are symbols of the seven bowls of divine wrath. They will be taken
a third of humanity. These diseases will destroy people, covering
their bodies with ulcers, purulent wounds, striking from the inside and suppressing them
will."

    These diseases are likely to include: 1.AIDS (for the first time
appeared in Central Africa), 2. "Legionnaires' disease" (USA),
3. Mayaro disease from insect bites (Bolivia),4. T-leukemia,
in an unknown way affecting human blood, 5.fungal
patilomycosis variole disease, which affects muscles and other
vital human organs (first discovered in
Tashkent metro, in 1988).

    6. Red-headed fly, larvae were discovered in Africa
which, penetrating the human or animal body, literally
eat the body.  7. In 1990, it was opened in Thailand and Malaysia
an unknown disease that kills mostly young people in their sleep
men.

    8. Quite recently, European newspapers reported a new
terrible disease of the twentieth century - CFS (chronic impotence syndrome
or HSB).   It is transmitted by little-studied Herges viruses,
breeding in a poisoned environment.  In humans
Lead fatigue, memory loss, convulsions and
convulsions.  He has no control over himself, plunging into lethargy
sleep turning into painless death. So it has already appeared
8 diseases that claim to be among the seven
fatal diseases predicted by Nostradamus.



    1982 - “The last Shah will die over his millions” - death

    1984 - first test of “geophysical” weapons:

    1984-1997 - "Neptune will sit on Capricorn,
                 And his trident will stick into the Earth.
                 The peaks of the highest mountains waver.
                 Eight countries will mourn their children."



    In 1984, Neptune entered the sign of Capricorn (element - earth),
where he will stay for 13 years (until 1997). During this period from
powerful earthquakes will affect 8 countries (China, Armenia, Georgia,
Romania, Nicaragua, Philippines and others).



    1985 - development of robotics:



          "The decline of sacred prayers will come,
           When idiots are headless with bodies of iron
           They will replace people and displace God in their souls."



    The end of the twentieth century - the invention of high-power lasers and their
use as a new ultra-precision weapon:



          "The flying eyes will be torn from the Gorgon Medusa.
           Seeing them, people will turn into stones."



    1986 - accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which occurred immediately
after Comet Halley's closest approach to Earth.



          “The tail of a terrible comet will touch the Earth.
           People losing hair, skin and eyes
           They rush in mad fear from the depths of Borysthenes."



    "Borysthenes" is the ancient Greek name of the Dnieper.



           "Many will wait for the coming of angels from heaven,
            And not angels will come, but black clouds."

    1986 - “A comet will come to Earth,
            Carrying the Star of Revelation on his tail."



    In ancient times, the Star of Revelation was called "Wormwood"
(in Ukrainian - “chernobyl”). We are talking about Halley's Comet, which
is a messenger of Chaos and gives rise to unpredictable situations,
brings war, destruction, disasters, death. When this comet
approached the solar system (1981), American doctors were
AIDS was discovered.



    1986-1995 - "Five new diseases will kill people,
                 A quarter of people won't be able to stand it."



    1986-1991 - radioactive waste leaks - in Chernobyl
(Ukraine), England, France, Bulgaria, Germany and Nevada (USA).

    1987-1997 - "dangerous rays from the sky" - increased number
ultraviolet rays due to the appearance of “holes” in the ozone layer.

    1988-1994 - melting ice at the poles, climate change
disasters, unexpected cold waves.

1989 - “There will be big parades in the North,
            Ask the Yellow Snake about conscience,
            Saturn and Jupiter will extinguish discord,
            Fifteen friends rise up."



    In this quatrain we are talking about the Great Parade of the Planets,
observed in 1982-1994. 1989 was the year of the Yellow Snake,
and the problems of spirituality have become acute in the world. At the same time there was
place of opposition between Saturn and Jupiter, meaning confrontation
people and authorities.  "Fifteen Friends" - 15 republics then
the existing Soviet Union.



    1989-1992 - unprecedented drought and famine in Africa and
Mediterranean.



          "A great famine will follow the long rains
                                        at the North Pole.
           The Mediterranean will suffer a catastrophic drought.
           Above the scorching sun over the sea
           The fish will be half cooked in Negroponte."



    1989-1990 - conjunction of Saturn, Uranus and Neptune,
happening twice per millennium will lead to the fact that
"Humanity will experience serious upheavals." It's time
"state renewal".



    1990 - “I see the crosses of restored churches.
            The Savior gives honor to the East,
            And Persia is still burning with fresh wounds-
            Almost a million Egyptians come to her."



    Mentioned here are the restoration of churches in the Soviet Union and
at the same time there is a war in the East, but here Nostradamus called
Iraqis "Egyptians", since in the 16th century Iraq, Iran and Egypt
were a single state, part of the Ottoman Empire.

    And about the religious revival in Russia Michel Nostradamus
wrote this:



          "Old temples were split by lightning,
           The suffering people rushed there.
           Donkeys, horses, people and ancient memory
           They are always looking for protection from hunger."



    1990-2025 - massive undermining of revolutionary prestige.

    1990 - German reunification and anti-communist
revolutions in Eastern Europe:



          "Germany will become mighty and strong,
           Trojan blood strengthens her,
           Peoples from the East would mix with clay,
           But power is born again from retribution."



    1990 - resurrection of medieval mysteries and Freemasonry:



          "Their faces are covered with a black robe.
           They are scary because they are elusive.
           Their spider legs will reach out to everyone 
                             governments of the world.
           Kappa, theta, lambda rule the states."

1990-1994 - “Great strife will come to the Adriatic.”



    1990-1991 - “There will be two severed heads
                 On both sides of the ocean
                 In two states."



    1991 is a critical year when mass activity will
to grow: "the people, no longer able to endure deception and
the deceit that surrounds him will do everything in his power,
to straighten out the situation. And people don't want to completely submit
arbitrariness and meet the end from the cruel hand that rests
on the soil it provokes."  Most likely it means
the growth of the democratic movement and the struggle against possible
military coup.

    1991 - UFOs flying over the skies of Belgium in the form of luminous
triangles:



          "The appearance of wonderful triangles in the sky -
           Extraordinary messengers from the stars."
