                         part two



    In general, Nostradamus has a number of quatrains, in one way or another
degree related to what happened in Russia in 1917 and
in subsequent years:



          "He seized power as a champion of freedom,
           The deceived people supported him,
           But the vaults they had built collapsed,
           And the former ideal turned to dust."

          "The Slavic people are under a bad sign,
           Their prisons and songs are of no use to their kings,
           Will come to replace it, like a sacred oracle,
           Scholastic and dogmatist and false prophet."

          "The dogmatist created a new faith,
           All spectacles glorify the great deception.
           Animals are measured by a noble standard,
           And evil is presented to us as good."

          "The rising star will soon go out,
           And there was no weak-willed monarch in power.
           The creator of impossible fables has gained the upper hand:
           The parade is commanded by cunning and fear."



    1917 - seizure of power in Russia by the Bolsheviks and plunder
Winter Palace mob:



          "The demagogue gathered a cunning gang,
           To lure the scepter from the king,
           The lamb is deceived by the treacherous husky,And the rebels will be ordered to plunder the palace."



    1917 - the first government of Soviet Russia (Council of People's
commissioners):



          “They have a brocade tablecloth instead of soil.
           Twelve, all dressed in red, sit at the table.
           Know that the porch will be covered with dirt and blood,
           The things they do are criminal!"



    1917-1921 - Lenin's leadership of Soviet Russia at
for 20 months (November 1917 - August 1918, June 1920 -
April 1921), the rest of the time he was ill after being wounded or was
on vacation.



           "He himself destroyed all good hopes,
            When he ruled the country for 20 months,
            The tyrant crucified humanity and tenderness,
            But there was another ruler who was even worse."

    1918 - “I see the royal thrones crumbling,
            When they are swept away by a human hurricane.
            The republic will be made worse by the crown.
            Both whites and reds are a cruel deception."

           "When the fateful whirlwind overturns
            The carriage of the crowned couple,
            The monarchy is crucified by commoners,
            Both the Reds and the Whites will be deceived."



    Nostradamus warned that “in the barbarian power (Russia)
most of the court nobility will be sent to their deaths."



    1918 - collapseRussian, German, Austro-Hungarian and
Turkish empires - "the ancient monarchies will not stand."



    "In the spring there will be signs, and then extraordinary changes,
collapse of kingdoms and powerful earthquakes. After the bloody
war, the eastern states will fall apart and
they will be troubled like the sea."



    1918 - end of World War 1 and US entry into the war
in 1917. "Boar" is the symbol of Germany, "eagle" is the symbol of the USA, "leopard"
or "rooster" - France.



          "A boar and a leopard in frantic fights
           Watching the sunrise on the Champ de Mars,
           Eagle wings near the Sun are so bright,
           The leopard eagle is waiting for the Savior."

          "The Sun Sign rewards three with victory
           Unexpected: a lion with a rooster and an eagle.
           But who will stop the coming troubles?
           The defeated man is happy with the dream of revenge."



    1918-1921 - civil war and terrible famine in Russia,
caused by military devastation and the policies of the Bolsheviks:



          "Brother will go against brother, and father against son.
           A great famine will come, and the nations 
           will begin to eat each other.
           The Republic is choked with misfortune and dirt,
           But its apparatus will grow."

          "The evening wave does not shake that port,
           Floodedsun under the surface of the sea.
           Enmity will scatter bridges and tombs.
           A great nation was at war with itself."

          "The Republic holds the bloody banner,
           Like a holiday celebrating the departure of the king,
           But as soon as the rebellious flame goes out,
           And the earth will see the death of the scaffolds."

          "The people are asking for new jacqueries,
           The field will be divided by civil war.
           The iron will of the empire will weaken,
           The past has been trampled by an angry sister."



    The Bolsheviks considered the October Revolution of 1917 a sister
The French bourgeois revolution of 1789, and the revolution in Russia
went through the same stages as in France: popular upsurge,
execution of the monarch and his family, revolutionary terror, civil
war, foreign intervention, etc.  It's over
counter-revolutionary coup carried out by Stalin (in France
Napoleon).



    1918 - murder of the royal family by the Bolsheviks:



          "I know: the monarch will finally regret
           That before he spared his enemy.
           He is eliminated with a cruel idea,
           By executing all his relatives and all his relatives."



    1919-1926 - persecution and "great extermination"
clergy in the USSR, "the most severe persecution of the church, which
never happened:



          "Where is the air deafened by the roar of guns?
           And the robes of the saints are stained with blood?
           Faith will be punished by murder,
           And wars shake love and crosses."

          "The growth of sects and religions is dangerous for the Reds:
           You can't build peace with lashes!
           No one will be saved from the Devil's League,
           Only the earthly demon was invited to the feast."



    1922 - “a satanic state will be created” (Soviet
Union).  Nostradamus writes about the penetration of utopian ideas
socialism in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, through which
The Dnieper (Borisfen) River flows. He foresaw that Thomas's ideas
Mora and his successors will find support in the Slavic world, from where
their followers will want to command the whole world and rebuild
all my life on earth in my own way:



          "There is power in More's teachings and inventions,
           Boristhenes will carry her through the centuries.
           Here the storm breaks the rotten supports,
           And the storm became an element of other atmospheres."



    In another passage, Nostradamus foresaw that illusory
teachings about the social ideal that grew out of Thomas More's Utopia
(which describes the coming "paradise" on earth), will crowd out faith and
church.  Socialism, developing in the direction from utopia to
despotism (and not from utopia to science, according toMarx's statement and
Engels), will turn the twentieth century into a new Middle Ages.



          "The beast catches leaders and peoples,
           Church law will fight with him,
           Centuries will pass through terror and adversity,
           Once the law was distorted by utopianism."



    This includes the mass expulsion of leading scientists from
Russia, which led to the decline of science in the Soviet Union:



           "Science and knowledge are no longer valued,
            They are trampled by the spiritually wretched king,
            In exile, without means, experts on the universe,
            Scientists have been entrusted with a pathetic role."

    1922 - “He frightened everyone with his furious appearance
            And he touched marble statues with his shoulder.
            The leader who was hanged by his feet was offended by fate,
            Such a person will not deserve posthumous honor."

           "There will be a black villain
            Organize wars in the South.
            Afterwards the people will see him and his harlot
            Hanged by the feet."



    We are talking about the emergence of the future Italian dictator Benito
Mussolini.  He was hanged by his feet along with his mistress
only in 1945.



    1923 - Munich "Beer Hall Putsch" - first real appearance
Adolf Hitler on the political stage:



          "A flock of hungrythe animals will be released from their cages,
           They will cross the Ister, Danube and Vistula.
           Two thirds of Europe will be given to Hitler.
           This will happen when the children of Germany
                             they will not know childhood."



    For preparing an anti-government conspiracy, Hitler was
sentenced to two years in prison:



          "The leader is raving about German greatness again:
           Prison bars will not hold back ideas."



    1924 - construction of the mausoleum, which is still located
body of V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin):



          “Descendants will remember the square hall.
           The corpse was displayed for the amusement of the people."
