Alexander Shushkov/Alex Xor
I propose to work on a new project -
brochure: "Studies in programming in
assembler Z-80" (working title).
What is the need for this kind of bro-
shure/book?
- This has never happened before and does not exist yet;
- I myself would need such a brochure
(and as it turns out now, not only
me);
- Should we ask the people whether this is the case?
in general I'm not used to it, otherwise we wouldn't have seen
and Paragraph. We need to act!
What will it look like?
- About the same as the newspaper Paragraph,
just thicker.
Who is the author?
- One of the authors will be myself;
- I invite everyone interested in cooperation
Responsible persons.
What do I offer for cooperation?
- Nothing to offer for a couple of procedures
I can, just mention your author-
stva;
- One/two copies of the future brochure for
significant contribution to the cause;
- Become a distributor of this brochure,
but at your own expense.
What are the release dates?
- Nothing can be said in advance, but it is possible
It’s safe to say that this
requires at least a year, possibly
more.
Approximate content:
+++++++++++++++++++++
Introduction (from the author/s)
1. Arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication)

3. Working with sprites (address calculation,
conclusionsprite, mirror rotation and
etc.)
4. Poll of keyboard, joysticks
5. Sounds (AY, Beep£er)
6. Working with text (output, calculation, compression
ie, encodings ALT, WIN, KOI, bctpauba-
adding color to text, font formats)
7. Compressors/decompressors (primitive
and short)
8. Working with extended memory (its support
account, ports of famous computers, driver
page switching faith, universal
driver)
9. Working with printers (ports, testing
writing, printing)
10. Working with a disk drive (error handling)
side, fast drivers)
11. Testing of iron/its presence and
generally working with it/ (hard drive, CD Rom,
mouse, modem, printer, joysticks, GS,
DMA, CPU, AY, turbo/non-turbo, Cmos
etc.)
12. Little tricks (XOR A, ADD hl,-x
etc.)
13. Big tricks (maybe here
can be attributed to screen output per frame and
etc.)
14. Miscellaneous (all kinds of short pro-
tsedurki, maybe the same extinguishers /
dampers from ZX-Review, etc.)
15. Ideas (here you can simply describe non-
which ideas, which in their volume
would take up a lot of spacemaybe
point to combine with "big tricks-
mi").
16. Literature (if possible, describe
in the procedures where they were taken from, or their
authorship)
The content is not final, so it may
change, replenish, correct.
Suggestions are accepted.
