******************* ARGUE WITH ARBITMAN: ********************

Roman ARBITMAN:

   Dear Sergey and Andrey!
Thank you for the magazine "Two Hundred". I hope that over time he will overcome
is published in the magazine “One Hundred Thousand” and will come to every home.
True, it seemed to me personally that near-literary discussions -
after which some good science fiction writers undertake not to shake hands
other good science fiction writers, and the latter count on meeting
touching the faces of the first is a deeply unconstructive matter. And continued
reaping them is the same as becoming like famous characters
funny anecdote, who ate free shit for a bet.
Let's have a better discussion about science fiction. Without personalities (same-
late) and without fighting (required). Personally, I'm ready with anyone
be arguing about something.
                           All the best!
                                        Roman Arbitman. 04.09.94

Andrey IZMAILOV: (with his characteristic soft, intelligent smile)

EPIGRAPH: "Author of the collection "Time of Hate"
child" burned and precipitated after the first
same internal monologue, tailored from incongruous
formally direct speech. Be it just random
composition defect, the reader could still
take a show off, motivating such bullshit specially
digits of the preamble. However, putting everything together
a story of similar internal monologues,
Andrei Izmailov was completely taken aback.
...The young St. Petersburg writer sgu-
there was an overabundance of intellectual snobbery,
reluctance to waste even a hundred pages of your
                    richly organized inner world, slightly
more cleverly introduce the author's "I" into the traditional
ational structure of a crime story."
                        Roman Arbitman. "Fraer Identification."
                        Newspaper "Today".

Young Saratov critic Roma Arbitman, having read a third of the book
"Time to Hate" was publicly expressed in the sense that the author
“totally freaked out,” they say, he, the author, is overly intelligent
to create gangster action thrillers.
Well, you will have to when meeting with a young Saratov critic
give a slurp in public - in our style, in militant style - so as not to
was mistaken about who, in fact, is a fraer, identified
to falsify, so to speak
