Humor - rules for using floppies.
Terms of use floppy disks. 1) Never leave diskettes in the drive, as data can drain from the disk surface and cause corrosion of internal parts of the drive. Floppy disks should curl up and stored in their cases for pencils. 2) Diskettes should be cleaned and rub the wax once a week. Small metal particles can be removed potent magnet over the surface of the disc. Any stubborn Metal shavings can be removed with scouring powder and steel brush. When the disk is rubbed with wax, make sure that handled both sides. This will allow diskette to spin faster and reduce the access time. 3) Do not bend the floppy disk except when they are not intermeddle drive. "Big" diskettes may be bent and used in "small" drives. 4) Never insert a diskette into the drive upside down. These may fall from the surface of the disk and jam the mechanics drive. 5) Diskettes can not be copied by Xerox. If your data need to copy, simply insert two diskettes into your drive. Whenever you modify a document, data will be written to both drives. Convenient method for better backup copies: Keep a box of iron filings at your desk. When you need two copies, sprinkle sawdust between the diskettes before how to insert them into the drive. 6) Diskettes should not come out or inserted, while LED drive is on or blinking. Failure to comply may lead to blurry or unreadable text. Sometimes indicator stays on, what's known as "hanging". If your system freezes, probably need to insert a small number of coins before allowing access drive. 7) If your disk is full and you need more space memory, remove the disc from the drive and shake vigorously for two minutes. This will provide data compression in sufficient amount to free up memory. Prior to this, cover the "Tape" all the holes to prevent data loss. 8) The time data access can be reduced if you cut more holes in the envelope floppy. This will ensure greater number of access points to the disk. 9) Periodically spray diskettes dichlorvos to prevent the emergence of system bugs.
