   Hello, dear users!


   Firstly, I take this opportunity to thank Ilya
ZX-SHADOW for organizing a splendid entertainment, able to 
encompass the whole world of Spectrum in Moscow, and far 
beyond. 


   Trying to use the program "VIRUS II" to "Pentagon-128"
did not lead to success - management was paralyzed missing port 
Kempston joystick out of an empty space which read # FF; arrow 
in the game gather in the lower left corner and stuck there 
forever. Here you can see the obvious flaw of the program, all 
the more regrettable that the "Pentagon-128, on results of 
various surveys, prevails among spektrumistov 


   I had to hack the program (the benefit is not difficult - 
just two "ksorki") and add to it the ability to block poll 
Kempston joystick. Moscow, users can simply download a me (or 
from other servers, the program is already sold out), broken 
version. A championship participants from other regions, I want 
to offer their hands to remove glitch. Here's how it's done. 


   Take a blank disc and record on it the program "VIRUS II".
Next, use any disk-doctor and go to track 6,
Sector 7. Find the Bytes # 11, # 89, located at offset # C1 
from the beginning of the sector, and replace them with # AD, # 
6A; then write to disk the changes made. That's it! Management 
in game will be on the keyboard QAORprobel.



   Originally I wanted to invite you to open the game "VIRUS II"
with little utilities in BASIC, the text of which occupies two 
lines, after which you would have access to the "internals" 
insecure software game, but one person gave me wise advice: to 
organize all over the disk-doctor so as not to tire the user to 
fatten string "DATA" from the keyboard, with which I simply 
could not agree more. Advantages of the proposed on the advice 
approach are obvious: the number of keystrokes in the proposed 
variant is much less (though, you need the disk-doctor but he 
certainly has the arsenal of every computer player, and every 
player, of course, knows how to use it and know how arranged 
disk) any error in the actions of a disk-doctor is able to 
deliver the sea thrills (for example, if the "correct" not 
where they should), but even the word "virus" is already 
adjusts for elevated tone, so that everything is in order, and 
finally, after diskdoktora program will save the original size 
of 162 sectors that can not but rejoice, because a good program 
should be a lot!

Spectrum ADM program, or any other disk-doctor, for example,

packing lines in BASIC, and the subsequent reduction of the 
dismantled game in normal form ... And yet, wishing to get 
acquainted with original creations distinguished WLODEK'a 
BLACK'a, namely: program in BASIC in two rows, which, according 
to the author, Not only will remove the protection and 
eliminate the "glitch", but will pack the game, and probably 
sew it to the BASIC loader, can, may become familiar with it in

experience in programming, and / or magazine ZX-REVIEW, where 
from time immemorial taken to publish such amateurism ... 


   Attention! That would avoid the "thrill", climb the 
disk-doctor only in the author's version VIRUS II (A file with 
extension B - Start: 46 Length: 46, Size: 162). And change 
there something _only_ in case if you find a byte # 11, # 89!
