Brief summary of the theory of A.T. Fomenko.

The new chronology offers to replace the existing
(Scaligerian) historical scale reduced, in which
events earlier than the 16th century AD. multiplied and
duplicates of each other, confused by correspondence. Origin
writing is associated with the 9th century; medieval Europe and Asia
considered subordinate to the Mongol Empire with its center in Rus';
the history of Ancient Egypt fits into the framework of Arabic
conquests, history of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome - in the era
Renaissance; the history of ancient China is considered lost, and its
written sources - created in the 18th centuries with the participation of
European missionaries. A number of major wars come down to major
confrontation - the Gothic-Trojan War. In this regard
identification many medieval/ancient countries are considered
identical. In accordance with the principle of basic chronological
shifts (associated with the main series of source propagations)
looking for duplicates of main events and persons on several
standard distances from each other.
Due to the loss of meaning as a result of numerous correspondences and
literary additions, chronicles should be considered only
as a source of solid mathematicalcharacteristics: relative
volumes of chapters and frequency of mentions of names.
The creators of traditional history are considered to be: the official church
(emergence of modern religions and church texts
supposed around the XV-XVI centuries) and the Romanov dynasty,
hastened to hush up the achievements of the Ordynskaya that preceded it
dynasties.
The prerequisites for creating a theory are: finding
a suspicious number of similar historical events;
doubts about astronomical dating; gaps and inaccuracies in
dating scales for archaeological finds.
The encyclopedist is considered the main predecessor of Fomenko
beginning of the twentieth century Nikolai Morozov. In his main work "Christ"
N.A. Morozov considered datings that were different from the generally accepted ones
3-4 hundred years.

I intend to show how Anatoly Timofeevich Fomenko
incompetent (even with the support of his co-authors), and then
that he is using deliberately false arguments. To refute
quotes are taken from the writer’s books and compared with sources,
available at my disposal.

Below in the text are abbreviated: FN - Fomenko, Nosovsky. I will
use this term instead of "author" or "authors" to

 Refutation is underway:
 1. citing factual errors
 2. indicating psychological aspects (search for control

 3. indicating falsified facts
 4. pointing to evidence that is not valid
It was originally planned to indicate all conscious lengths
(searching for protection against sequential refutation using
volume inflation), but there were too many of them. Total
The volume of FN texts I process is 4968385 bytes.
Errors may remain in other places in the text where I did not
found due to the small number of sources involved.
It is extremely difficult to detect falsification of facts. The lies come out
only as an error in reasoning or a contradiction with known
literature. Statements like “found there and there”
a horoscope containing information of such and such a nature" is absolutely
impossible to verify (in the scientific literature you can find
evidence of the existence of what exists can even be found
refuting the existence of many non-existent things,
but one cannot hope to find in it a refutation of EVERYTHING that is
YOU CAN IMAGINE!) Regarding this, in one of the sections I will give
"epistemological principle", more or less suitable for analysis
parts of FN arguments.

rare literature - such that in its very existence
one can doubt it. But I prefer to hope that she still

Text analysis revealed some standard psychological
FN revolutions. The most common phrase that appears is to emphasize something.
“historians can only shrug their shoulders at this” (although they are very
I even have something to say) or similar. It also happens: “historians
the Scaligerian school usually says..." and then something else
ridiculous, which historians usually don’t say. "6. Imago (here:
substitution - lat.) - sixth technique. The point is that the reader
some unimaginable scarecrow is slipped in, having nothing
common with a real enemy, after which this fictitious
the enemy is destroyed. For example, thoughts that
it never occurred to the enemy and which he,

FNs like to use phrases "supposedly" (820 times in 4 books)and"on

The bibliographic list bib.gives 376 names, but
links are given only to 157. That is. more than half of this list -
TRASH TO GIVE WEIGHT TO THE BOOK. The list takes about 52k,
additional list at the beginning of the book -more 16k, total 68k. B s.
given 434 names (50k), there are links only to 116.
Bushkov in "The Russia that never existed" gives252names
(18k),refers to 84. And the peculiarity of Bushkov's presentation
is that all links are given without indicating the place in the book,
i.e. practically useless. This is not always observed in FN;
Golubev never gives links.
Total links in 4 Fomenko's books (bib., gr., imp., e-s.)
1126+979+2719+594=5418. Without taking into account repeated references to the same
the same book in a row - 613+668+1295+341=2917.
There are245+173+430+95=943 links to A. Fomenko (excluding
repeated173+152+350+91=766, i.e.26% of all links) and
101+83+124+55=363 on N. Morozova.

There are places that are not so much impossible to check, but
serving thankless jobs. This is, for example, reconciliation
characteristics of eclipses throughout the historical period. Or
checking references to any monograph to which FN referred only
by title, but without page number. But this work requires
still gain access. Human time is not endless...
Unfortunately, FNs often use references to themselves,
which I currently cannot analyze for
lack of previous FN books.

FNs collect and comment on all reviews about their theory, as
positive and negative...

G.V.Nosovsky, A.T.Fomenko. REPLY TO THE ARTICLE BY A.L. PONOMAREV
(Faculty of History, Moscow State University).

An article by A.L. Ponomarev was published in the newsletter
Association "History and Computer", No.18, pp.127-154, July 1996
g., Moscow. It discusses our work on astronomical
dating of Ptolemy's "Almagest" [nx-Za], [nx-Zb]and also
our work on the application of mathematical methods to
chronology. We will not respond to the parody
(note: with this one phrase FN are carefully protected
from any attempts to use the _most convincing_ method
refutations of their texts - DISCLOSURE THE METHOD OF THEIR CREATION. Not
It’s a secret that probabilistic calculations alone are problematic
calculate the frequency of repetition of certain groups of matches in
history, but a PARODY OF THE TEXT OF FN will inevitably prove the abyss
possibilities for grouping these matches in a creative way
searching for opportunities _for those who are looking for_! For example, FN often
notice how often Gregorovius searches for a coincidence of a new story with
antiquity. For my part, I can give another example:
school chemistry teacher announced to his students that almost
At the same time as Mendeleev, the periodic table was compiled by a certain
Mendel, and that in some places abroad the table is called after him
name. However, due to his passion for beauty, he confused G.I. Mendel
(whose knowledge of chemistry is little known to us) with L.Yu.Meyer...
By the way, it’s absolutely remarkable that the same approach led
N.A. Morozova and FN to different systems of identification. This should be about
something to say.)
