News - In the city there were modems, finishes work on CD-ROM.

  I already wrote in the last issue of the newspaper that
in our city earned the first modems
Spectrum ... - Vicom'y ... and in this issue
our newspaper, you can find the article on
assembly and commissioning of these modems (Thanks to Andrew 
for the material). 


  The biggest news of our little
campus - it's certainly something that works on
creating CD-ROM with a library of software for ZX-Spectrum 
nearing to an end. Briefly about the content of the disc ... On

CD-ROM contains a variety of emulators ZXSPEKTRUMA, utilities 
for the PC, Plans, Texts (descriptions and kompterov) ..

Also on our drive is the entire collection of software for the 
Spectrum, is available in our city (???)... 

  On the disc have already been written:

  - Game programs (516 discs)

  - Musical show (220 discs)

  - Training programs (17 discs)

  - System Program (95 CD)

  - Electronic newspapers and magazines (253 g.)

  - Graphics (30 discs)

  - IS-DOS (57 discs)

To date, the amount of information stored on CD-ROM in the 
compressed form is about 440 MB (rar).
