YEAH! The stage is alive! :) And this is confirmed by the ongoing
the appearance of warez, or rather soft. What has not been done in these past months?
happened: this and FOReVER III - a large eight-bit demoparty in
Slovakia, and the expected Izhevsk ASCii'02 and Minsk
Millennium 1902. The scene received a new portion of news. Today we
let's look at this "motley" warez, among which finally
We come across the products we expected.

Subliminal Extacy suddenly came out of the blue
votesheets. Western stagers are not lagging behind! It is assumed that
chart results will be placed in the 4th issue of thisinternational stage publication published in English
language. But for this you need to try to fill out the votesheet and
send to the authors, which is what is proposed. And just recently came out in
light and cam pre-release of this diskzin'e.
----------------------------------------------------------------
As mentioned above, the Slovak FOReVER SE III
demoparty, completely dedicated to eight-bit platforms
was successfully held on March 15-17, gathering people from almost all
ends of Europe. Demoparty was held on C=64, Atari and of course
same ZX-Spectrum sections. Only the organizers of this event
slow down, in no hurry to post compo work. It seems to me
At the moment viewers are being written, which is bad. Why? Yes in advance
Everything had to be written and the engine should be debugged! And in
the right time, for at least a week, based on compo
quickly pack up all the material, link it and place it on
review of the thirsty macce of ZX'ers, C=64 and Atari sceners.
    Badly!

The 11th issue is now out! There is nothing to comment here
necessary - you need to send a money transfer where necessary and with anticipation
wait for a parcel with the bestprinted edition for our
computer. You can contact the authors by writing to

A collection of graphics from FOReVER III demoparty has been released,
distributed by Polish stager Yerzmyey'em. How it was
noted (Thanks to D-Man/PCB!), my work "Nemesis Divina",
who took 9th place did not turn out, or rather, she was recorded in
.tap'e, but the basic loader contained an error in the file name and
so I didn’t load it, which of course is very unpleasant. Here is one of
three: either the bourgeoisie were drunk when they made the collections, or
screwed up or ordinary brakes.

Successfully, Izhevsk demoparty debuted for the second time
ASCii'02, held at the end of April by the group Power of Sound and
lesser known X-Team. The results are already known, we will
hope that the party works themselves will be available soon. Like me
I understand that if CC is no longer there, ASCii will become the only one
real _spectrum_ party! We can say with confidence that it is good
organization and, most importantly, prizes and certificates for the winners_to all_ participants of this cultural event. It deserves
respect and praise!
----------------------------------------------------------------
We are still lucky to attend “party meetings” this year! 4-5
May a significant event happened in Belarus -
Millennium'1902 demoparty (Minsk). Which says a lot. :) That's it
this stage action took place after the May holidays and
It’s unthinkable to imagine how Belarusian stagers and their guests
compo'new, especially since the sponsor turned out to be a distillery
factory I just don't have enough imagination to imagine what's there
it was for the hidden party! :D I'm sure it was a real riot! :)
However, we are waiting for work.

Spectrum is alive not only in Europe! I recently received a letter
from Armenia (!) from the spektrumist collective Armenian Reality.
Grandiose! The guys know Russian and work for Scorpios,
true “left”, pirate ones. The software gets to them in a very
in limited quantities, with great delay. And no wonder
after all, the Internet in their country is still, unfortunately, large
rarity. “Countrymen’s” feelings forced them to write to Heresy -
we live in the North Caucasus together, and besides, they have
distant relatives in minecity. Armenian spektrumists do not
read our press, still use Masm'om, Art Studio and
Sound Tracker Pro. (programs from past years) Software is obtained from
Russia, when they come to sessions at our educational institutions. How
Did HeresY get to Armenian Reality? Some friend of theirs
Dagestana sent a parcel with disks on which, among various
there was software and our newspaper, which of course was nice. :) So,
I think it’s worth telling about the project we’re working on
our colleagues and, in fact, the developers themselves.

                      Armenian Reality stuff:

    Possser (Arthur) - organizer
Ben Lauden (Levon) - main coder
Black Armenian (Apmeh) - code and algorithms
    Chatlaher (Abahec) - code, optimization
    South Aga (Ara) - gfx-artist
    Green Mozart (Hamlet) - musician
    Tsunaref (Barevzis) - beta tester

Quite an impressive team, isn’t it?

The guys studied the sources of Goa 4k, and also with the help of Mons
split the engine
Belarusian Awaken_demo and completely traced the codeDoom_demo
(Digital Reality) as a result of which it is now written Blood c
engine at the crossroads of vector-fill technology and some
something like chunks, with loose code revealed into free pages.
This whole thing will require at least 1024 KB of memory! Very
It is desirable to have a turbo 1bmhz. Historical imprint too
has left its mark: there will be additional areas where you will be c
walking around the mosque with a pitchfork and stabbing living corpses,
symbolizing Turks. It's clear that the guys have a sense of humor! Well,
not sickly. According to them, a special algorithm will be written,
removing splashes of blood and the likeness of the entrails of stabbed Turks.
There will also be realtime output of digital sounds to Kovox, and between
the rendered animation and small
inserts in the style of old demos. Finally, it will be on the Spectrum
Blood. (or rather, his pathetic semblance, but still)
I'll try to contact the authors and find out next time
number for additional information. :)

Nik-O takes part in writing one demo, together with
two more famous stage writers. But since this is not for publication,
then I didn’t say anything and didn’t name anyone. ;)
Cannibal, having collaborated with perhaps the only
the remaining gaming team on the Spectrum, draws graphics
for our game together. And this is also confidential. Read in
next issue.

There is also information that Vadim (aka Viper/TL) is conducting
development of the official website of Techno Lab. Let's settle into the new
millennium with web resources!

Our team took part in FOReVER III in the zx nominations
music and zx gfx compos, shaking places: Nik-O - 11th place c
module "Simple" and Cannibal - 9th place for graphic work
"Nemesis Divina". Congratulations are accepted. :)
Millennium 1902, Minsk, Belarus. Cannibal's 9th place in gfx
compo, Nik-O... But I won’t tell! ;)

corrected spelling and other errors in materials, stage
Some pretty interesting things happened - the publication
the long-awaited Adventurer #13, as well as a successful start and finish
ASCii'02 and Millennium 1902 demoparties and perhaps at the moment
The link of this number revealed something else. Now there is something
amount of material and warez that is simply not physically
squeezed into this room. Of course I could squeeze it in, but
it would just be a newspaper-like magazine, like Insanity. (rulez,
but he’s been gone for a long time). So wait for number 10. I think it's the last one
won't keep you waiting long.
