Review of Rostov new products
Warning! What will be described here is
Perhaps this is not new for you, but I’m used to it
consider something new, something I don’t have yet
what was and what is not complete crap...
System programs:
Nate: Test IM2
By: Yu. Kovalevsky
A unique test for glitches. Allows
determine the duration of the signal int, and
also the stability of the data bus, and
does it quite competently (I don't
I resisted and picked it :)). But in general
quite useful program.
Nate: Real Commander 1.9
By: Real Software
Another gift from Real. Added
several useful features. Much to say
I can't, I'm not a fan of RC, but something
What immediately caught my eye: RC refuses
work with drive "B", i.e. directory
visible but no more (this thing was
tested from under the emulsion, on a real car,
maybe everything is ok). Next: conceived
In my naivety I glued together several
files in RC and this @#@$!@%%@! created
a bunch of left files in the disk killed :(
The kit includes ROM firmware with RC, but
as I looked - the same eggs, only in
profile - the same glitches.
Nate: Sprite Editor 1.01 (SED)
By: Orion Group+Triumph+Horror Soft/CPU
I'm just shocked! Rulez in one word! A
in more detail - this is a game editor
sprites 2*2 familiar places. Windows, icons,
arrow, help, etc. Well, there are no words - only
imotions. This is necessarysee! Even glitchy
Keyboard polling does not spoil the overall
impressions.
Nate: E-Mage Work Station 1.0
By: E-Mage
Cool commander, tailored for the job
with the mouse, but you can also use the keyboard. Everything's fine
if not for minor glitches, but after
a small bugfix was perfect.
Beautifully and competently made, you can stitch it in
pzu, which is what I did. :)
Nate: Doors 2000
By: E-Mage
Porodia on MustDie`95, although more
looks like MustDie 3. 11, but that doesn't matter,
the main thing is beautiful.
Nate: Extreme`s Tracker 2.0 demoBy: Red Limited
New Digital Tracker from Red Ltd. Bye
demo version, but if the full version comes out,
and I have no doubt about this, they will do it
everyone, including me and my
UltraSonic`om. You can listen to the demo version
.mod`s, and even this is enough to understand
all the coolness of this editor.
>Snake: I would like to add that for now
the moment the next version of ET 2.10 appeared,
where you can do everything you need
to write your works. But according to
convenience of writing music, UltraSinic everything -
it's better. ET at startup determines and in
further uses extended memory,
and the speed of your computer
defines a table of note frequencies, so
turbo mode owners will work in ET from
increased quality.
Nate: Zasm 3.10
By: O. Hohlov, K. Afendikov, V. Rubtsov
If you saw on PC TR or C++ - you
you will understand me. The design is similar, but
just beautiful, but too slow. A lot
service functions, but why are they needed?
Because of them, assembler takes almost
half the disk! Lame!
Nate: Storm 1.3
By: X-Trade
I don't have any differences from version 1.1
found it. Cool assembler, but sometimes it
considers himself too smart and starts
cower.
Newspapers:
Nate: Born Death #0E
By: Sage Group
Another masterpiece. I certainly thought that
they are cool, but not so cool! Think about it:
pixel scrollingup/down total
screen in one int, i.e. 50fps. Just
It's nice to read the newspaper. Everything is original
beautiful, and most importantly, dry... damn, no
dry and fast, but that doesn't matter. Personally I
I think your newspaper is the best for Speccy.
Nate: Network Falcon 1
By: ???
The first issue of the Krasnoyarsk newspaper. Like me
and expected it - complete crap. A bunch of gnarly
graphics, content - zero. It's a pity that with
the first issue sucks.
Nate: Optron 33
By: ???
Well, I don’t like all kinds of newspapers! Although O`33
did not cause an immediate urge to vomit
I didn’t like him, well, I don’t like him...
Nate: Nicron 115
By: ???
The next issue of the most nerdy newspaper.
As usual, reprinting texts from networks and
other stuff sucks.
PS:What you read is just mine
subjective opinion, which may
too harsh.
PPS: By the way, I officially left OHG. to me
tired of the crowd of lamers in which
The Rostov legend has become false. Now I
I am the organizer of Disabler Production

high-quality system programs at record prices
short terms. For example MultiStudio 3.0
was written in two days (about 22 hours
computer time).

at a frantic pace - write, I'm always happy
