  Wow! Good idea: why review Jet clones 
Set Willy, of which there are already a dime a dozen,
when they are not much different from each other
externally and structurally? Well, the fans are just like
small children - when the engine appeared in free
access, the attack has begun, guess who...
Doesn't remind me of the situation with I Wanna Be The 
Guy?

  No, I admit, for its time JSW was
hit, but call it the best game on the Spectrum
today is the same as counting the Lada Kalina
a supercar that can compete with dignity
with Lamborghini Diablo. Here, again, there are different
mentalities (Russian and... non-Russian ;)), different
quality levels, different languages... In the end -
misunderstanding on our part and ignorance
masterpieces that appeared exclusively under
TR-DOS, from their side. On World of Spectrum,
however, this game is far from the first
place in the voting chart, which is already saying something
says.

  Sid Spanners, released in four parts for
just one year, in principle, is not much
differs from its source of inspiration:
levels that are simple in architecture, to hell and
more enemies - abstract masterpieces
schizophrenic art, the main character is outwardly
very similar to comrade Willie (Tokarev ;))... andhere you also need to collect all the bolts in order to play
pass. About the same thing happened in
Jet Sethe.

  Although there are differences, and for the better!
Well, let's say in the fourth part there is quite
good loading image, which (unlike
from the cover art of the same Willie) gives us a specific
an idea of the main character that pleases, and
very! And also music. The naive sound of a beeper
during the gameplay we will not hear, just
there will be silence. Not alarming, not distracting
silence, which, however, is sometimes interrupted
sound effects (jump-jump, jump-jump, I
took the bolt from here). And on the title page there is a sparkler
from Mister Beep. As always atmospheric, albeit
sterile and of good quality.                 

  This, oddly enough, is my train of thought

results. Uh-uh... Well... Well, the standard of quality

It sucks too, because I still have to play it
