12/14/2000 in Minsk, at the Uruchye sports complex, a concert took place
group "ARIA" - the leading group of all time.
I'll tell you everything in order. I arrived at the sports complex 2 hours before
start of action. We stand in front of the entrance, between us and the doors -
a crowd of cops... Some boss comes out and starts to say
everything was fine, no drinking, no smoking in the hall...
And the crowd is getting bigger and bigger...
The Aryans were rehearsing at this time. Guitar lines were heard
the songs "Dirt" and the song "Careless Angel". Then he went out to the crowd
Terentyev looked at the fans and made a vague gesture
(sort of greeted) and went back.
1.5 hours before the start they began to let us into the hall... The buffet is not
there was even beer :(((
I began to make my way closer to the stage... People were shouting “ARIA! ARIA!!
ARIA!!!"... Strangely enough it started on time... From the speakers
the melody of “Delusions of Grandeur” began to flow. Then the Aryans ran out and
fried along the strings...
The first song was: "This is rock", then "Let's rock this world" (world
I was swinging around wildly, it’s good that at least I didn’t fall). Then there were
songs: Torero, Will and Reason, Arise, overcome fear, Hero
asphalt, Street of Roses, Ballad ofancient Russian warrior, Game with
fire, follow me, angel dust, king of the road, take
my heart, Dirt, Deception, Paradise Lost, and of course Careless
Angel (songs are named out of order).
During the concert on stage:
Kipelov (vocals) - was mainly in the middle of the stage, during
guitar plays, I went to gargle...
Kholstinin (guitar) was mainly on the right side of the stage (if
viewed from the audience), Dubinin (bass guitar and backing vocals) - in
deep in the stage, on the left, Terentyev (guitar) - on the left side of the stage.
It looked cool when the three of them stood in a row and “gave
heat" to the whole hall.
Manyakin (drummers) hid behind his instruments, as always,
and he was visible only occasionally (he was small in stature), although in
at the end of the performance, he came out from behind his installation and threw out
hall drumsticks (he obviously threw them not in my direction :( ).
Meanwhile in the hall...
The crowd was normal, the festive atmosphere was palpable,
fans gestured with their hands to the beat of the music, some
it was hard to see, they sat on the shoulders of others. It was cool
watch as they, unable to maintain their balance, fell on their heads
others... The cops helped them get down to the ground, although some
they lowered their heads down :). The cops took away lighters (including
me too), and at the end of the concert everyone was kicked out :(
Crowds of fans left the hall amid shouts from the cops. Onall the way
to the metro (where most of the people were going) they sang songs and shouted:
"ARIA! ARIA!! ARIA!!!" It was a great concert, it’s just a pity
that they didn’t play any new songs (although the album was almost finished)...
And now I’m sitting here, typing this text, there’s a ringing in my ears, in my throat -
wheezing, in my head - ARIA.
And finally, I want to say a toast in ARYAN:
So that our diagnosis would be delusions of grandeur. What would always be in us
WILL AND MIND were present so that we would be free like a HERO
ASPHALT, brave like TORERO, fair like ANCIENT RUSSIAN
WARRIOR, so that a DEAD ZONE never settles in our hearts,
so that we do not succumb to general PARANOIA, so that we never
became SLAVES OF ILLUSIONS. So that we pay with BLOOD FOR BLOOD and DEATH
FOR DEATH, so that our FIGHT always CONTINUES, so that we ask
HEAT to all our enemies. And so that when the SUNSET of ours comes
life, we RUN FOLLOW THE SUN and found our LOST PARADISE!!!
