    Allow me to begin an article expressing my humble, but a few
a sharp mind. First: we usually just redraw our favorite images 
from the comic book files with the smallest possible 
resolution. And second: ansi - this is just a hobby, despite

want to look tolerably screens. In light of the foregoing, I

realize is the fact that ansi as art is very limited, and the

    The first and most important part of any ansi-product is, 
of course, plot. However, it is important not bust. A typical 
mistake: if you draw something funny (The same comics), the

background, "substrate", against which the main figure is only 
slightly stand out? Do not forget about the flowers that are

appropriate proportions (to maximize the screen area)

    Such discrepancies with the proportions can sometimes

    Another important part of solid'ov are tilting and rounding.
Maybe someone and seem so concerned over the reduction of

    You can sit for hours, perfecting techniques and methods of 
drawing and sloping curves (already known: smoothing 
(anti-aliasing), etc., or you have invented), but I will not go

expository in nature and affect only the basics. 

    We assume that any work completed solid'ami (more

    I'll try to pay attention only to the basic ideas, though
you should keep in mind that they were influenced by prejudices 
and peculiarities of my style.

    This technique also opens the door for the experiments:

negative-area blacks are using more frequently than others. Now
