   Before any Spectrum games today will remove the hat 
geymmeykery and enlightened players? I think by title it is 
clear that we have in mind. :) Of course, world, not even, the

   In that golden era of Spectrum heyday, when there was such a 
crazy race a soulless technology that is happening now in the 
modern of Computer plaformah and consoles at a time when

born each year a whole new game genres, queen of the ball was 
adventyura. 


   You know, I just now came up with
interesting thought: the era of computer games began with the 
advent of adventyury. It lasted until the reign of honor, 
committed and the opening of the gaming genres. But as soon as

ancestor fell into oblivion, immediately fell on troubled days 
in the creative plan. Like a stopped some refreshing

stream, which went from adventure - an adventure.
Maybe the thing that's just lies
in this word? ..


   What is a text game? Yes this is
interactive book! Is the analogy with fashionable now dreams of 
an interactive movie? However, how many years the book and how 
much - to the film? For several millennia it is easy to get 
used to the literature and to begin understand it. Against this 
background, some hundred years settling movie looks agree 
palely. :) 


   In any case, today for an interactive movie lacks even the 
most powerful computer equipment (not until the program

which is based on the initial rate can
traced with photographic quality and
required rest, and take off all the camera - not impossible to 
satiate the time). But we're talking about the Spectrum, which 
is now platform for creativity. And it interactive element can 
be realized only in adventyurah that knew for developers

games of the eighties.


   But! All these theories are good, but

English language, therefore, attempts to create with them 
Russian-speaking game because of the previously mentioned 
reasons were unsuccessful. Instead of playing guessing engage

continued to look for Western games. On the other as players

scenario? If that does not have to rack their brains over what 
word pleases to introduce the player to, say,

   Gentlemen, before you - the very interactive book of its 
genre called Interactive Fiction, which is understood as 
"interactive fiction" (and not fiction, as many think). Another

and not quite logical, since each adventyura itself is 
interactive (Oh, well tautology! .. :)).

IF games.

   Of course, much of the text was not written for the sake of 
pathos statements: and here we are made the first IF in 
Russian, which is located in the annex "ZX-News"! ;-) 
Especially because the game that - just to demonstrate the 
possibilities IF Creator'a (real games yet to come!). Here it's 
just it The reason for the presentation of the article.



   We have developed a system whereby any spektrumist owning a 
good style and imagination, is able to create adventyurny 
masterpiece - it all depends on scenario. The text itself with 
simple labels locations and options is printed in your favorite 
editor - details will be in January "ZX-News", when we finish 
work on the interface (almost everything else

ready) IF Creator'a. The program will include a
application as a game "Where no one had gone before."


   By the way, a couple of words about the game - at the end
all, one must write out our New Year's
gift. :) The script is processing
inimitable Robert Sheckley short story (his
works I was reading in my childhood), and
designed to _odno_ passage, since the location mostly 
duplicated. This is a purely due to lack of time. However, look

definitely worth it! After all, the name of the writer is a 
guarantee of an excellent plot. :) Let "Where are untouched by 
human hands" will be your excursion into the world of 
Interactive Fiction, after which you will learn what it looks 
like externally. IF Spectrum era begins! ..
