               Computer Festival (demo party)

              CHAOS CONSTRUCTION words release'a


     Note: before I had never been on such
events and I'll try as closely as possible to describe all
passing events. In this case, I will not use the word
such as "short, cool, sax, type and propagate all
demo-party, even where I was not. I want to say that
preparation of the festival has seen many nezaplonirovannyh

was represented a unique composition (as below). In the

     Get to the cinema "SUNRISE" seemed not completely
easy task. Since I live in the other end of town (I
Lumen, party at the veterans), the first hour in the subway 
affected me not very invigorating effect. Another half an hour

held computer festival). Around the building had already 
gathered enough people, all looking forward to the upcoming

events, communicate and consume beer immensely. Gradually

begins the following components ZX S 512b intro. As seen from

interesting. 

     Again, timely rest for 10 minutes to drink a beer and
pohavat. The next component of ZX Spectrum gfx. Who knows - it 
is drawings made on the Spectrum and made up (seemingly) from 
50 to 50 dots (pixels:). On this component begins with chaos

containing drawings, for example, the word "Decl - clumsy led 
Hall in hysterical laughter, and all sorts of absurd pictures 
of "secret materials "and other movies that nothing much

represented. Had a good work in those gfx'erov that
actually used at least some effort and imagination.
The next component was a ZX Spectrum 4k intro, and if the demo
(Intra) was without music it publicly all shipped to room
"Sucks". Naturally were working on that should

     All discussed and made another pereryvchik. Next
strange component (formats it or xm) all listened to all this
Good stuff. Of music were different (themselves

S 32k Game Compo. As has become clear, were presented to the 
game occupy no more than 32 kilos. There were three games (plus 
one outside competition). The first game - a strange quest 
(kind of an eye), something about space aliens, as I understand 
it. The second game Arkanoid was (she even had a name). Almost 
normal Arkanoid, with scrolls up and down and a bunch of 
various settings. Further, the game was some sort of step by 
step. I do not know the name and meaning Gamez (like the whole 
room nifiga not understand). Kind of like Bomberman (Although I 
have played in the Bombers but not a dandy, the other not 
seen). There is a screen on which four creatures (do not know 
how to another name) and when you click the Settings button 
"end of stroke" on the sides This area appears just nonsense, 
but these creatures need for the number of their moves to 
destroy this Labuda climbing on side of the screen. Nobody 
played (because no kerf), viewed DeMouy only in-game. At this 
game ends. All games were the music and quite well decorated. 
The game, which was out of competition certainly would have 
taken the first place. This was DIZZY species, with a cool 
screen saver and qualitatively made. In options there is the 
most egg (Dizzy himself) turns in 3D and you can change colors. 
A game known as Dizzi: underground, something like that. Was 
shown a small part of the game, with a good story and others 
(even cheat-mode). 

     A slight digression. Platform GameBoy not taken
participation in competitions, but on the street could talk to
Programmer for the console and see what they brought.
Most likely you can call the demo toys. It was like
on DOOM, only for consoles GeymBoy. Can you imagine? 3d-shooter
on a small plastic thing, similar to Tetris -
absolutely no brakes and no bugs. However, there could be
just walk through the maze. The last component to this day it 
was mp3 com. Only about 20 tracks, meeting in different

editors, with and without a vote. There were a lot of
metal songs, as was, and electronic music. It has already been
rather late and the administration has proposed or go home
or spend the night there, but at 9 o'clock in the church 
usually comes choir and all thrown out of the room. At night, a 
group whose lost deme on Amiga and wrote it again (and won first

place).

     Once I slept at home (; rolled up again. As
expected, all faces are dissatisfied with the sober and sleepy.
Demo party continues. Weather, incidentally, was well again.
The first component ZX S Demo where visitors all sorts of 
demos. I There was then no I do not even suspect that there 
was:))) said that everything was normal and interesting.


     The next component was the Amiga / PC rendered gfx. Such 
competition of course I saw the first time and got a normal 
sight. Participants who otseili, began a rampage and

were satisfied. One of the works represented guy
well, very enraged that his work otseili (work seemed

using the single effect (the effect of drawing in pencil).
No not at first believed, but then tired of all disputes and 
work carried into additional components.


     After viewing additional components, began the most
iteresnoe. Amiga / PC demo showing only three works.
Demos were normal, but some not quite thought out, and one
was even 90% of the video. Of course all laughed, but for
demo it was difficult to accept. Deme number of times, has been 
with the following content: the camera flies through the city, 
then a blast, all dying, people are fleeing, the city is 
changing for the worse, then show foty any scary monsters, 
suggesting that people lived in this city was the same. Normal 
deme, even with meaning. Then the demo, which was written the 
night. Show toilet, all there to spin in 3D appear 
inscriptions, blah blah, and terminates. Next deme is also not 
bleskala quality showed 20 seconds, and then began simply clip 
into "avi" format. It seems this year is not much tried and 
there is little napridumali. Was shown a demo of 64k, which 
allowed no-bid, as More work was not. There was still a work in 
flash, which also was out of the competition.


     We can say that more than anything related to the 
components was not (Besides winning). It was the afternoon, 
there was nothing ... Home wild-compo, whose program was not 
there either, because all works had been eliminated. Listened 
to, watched most of the good work demo party. Then he turned on 
the big screen "Teletubbies." I I understand that not all 
coders are normal, but to the whole room looked this nonsense. 
"And now Tink ..... will dance the dance boom-boom" then freaks 
in costumes shaking their huge bottoms before camera. "But ...

carcass shakes ass on camera. Near rides a vacuum cleaner. This 
nonsense ... probably for kids u.o. 

     Then start running all sorts of jokes (avi), that the hall
too pleased. After the jokes have started showing vulgar demos
past years. This poshlyatiny I also never in the demo is not
represented. There were shows about 40 papers and pointless on
they say, because they were beyond all components. At the end of
demo party announced the result and the winners of those 
components that had time to check (which did not have time, 
they mean broken off). 


     The last words of the administration ... and Chaos 
Construstion 01 adjourned, promised next year to do similar.


 So, my story about the demo party is over, we will wait for 
the next.
