Editorial and Contents
Welcome to double figures. The fanzine that was influenced into being by the RAS list tape catalogue reaches issue 10. We've no idea what our circulation is and we don't much care either. As long as it remains fun to put together then there will always be another issue appearing in your fave PD library. Quite simply, there is nothing like us on the Speccy scene and that's the way we like it.
We deal very closely with both Prism PD and Alchemist PD (plus Womo PD in Germany); we are an independent fanzine dedicated to seeing the Spectrum into the 21st Century (believe it, our computer has a future to look forward to and a past to be proud of). A lot of people in the media are now coming out and declaring their fondness for the 'simple' cheerful 8-bits - we'll let them romanticize, whilst you and I and thousands more still live it!
This issue sees the start of the 'free-gift'; original software EXCLUSIVE to Sinclair Classic. After part 2 you'll find the Turbo Compiler V2.0 by Jonathan Cauldwell plus a tutor program. If the compiler hasn't been supplied by the library then let us know and we'll treat their knackers with a cheese grater. In the event of them enjoying this, we'll extract some teeth instead. Hope you had a nice Xmas and maybe you got something nice in your stocking, like a +D disk drive or a new year subscription to Fish. I got six tins of high octane lager, a large chocolate cake and a festive card from the exquisite Violet Berlin that had a squirrel on the front.
