Сегодня, мы предлагаем вашему драгоценному вниманию интервью с
лидером DOMEN I.E. МАКСИМОМ ГАННУТИНЫМ. Без комментариев с нашей
стороны. И как говорится прямой эфир ...Question> What can you say about your previous works?

Reply> Hmm. An ambiguous question, of course. So. I think that
they gave me invaluable experience. Formed my own
new views on programming style. But that's not all.
I liked creating worlds. Programming has become non-
by such sacred rites. Moreover, I learned to calmly
listen to criticism addressed to you, and also try to highlight
extract constructive moments from it and discard emotions.
Let's remember the "Amber Wars" ...

Q> They say there were a lot of glitches in “Ember Wars”?

O> There really were a lot of bugs. "Ember Wars" began to be created
go another 48k with TAPE water. This led to the fact that the program
The framework consisted of dozens of code modules. Let's put it this way. And when
the layout ended up using all the memory (48). So
Thus, when the error was detected, many problems arose:
first> since the modules communicate with each other via physical ad-
When compiling at least one module, it was necessary to
the cost of recompilation of all other modules, keeping in
catch all the addresses (on a piece of paper). second> well, just a lack of pa-
memory (constant memory redistribution). And finally, third>
and if at least one of the sources was lost, there was only one way left
while sitting in the shadow (Scorpion) change the codeprograms, which itself
in itself an extremely tedious task. As a result, each message
hearing about a new bug caused me to cry out in despair and feel emotional
flour. ;) But despite everything in version 2.5 there is a heroic epic
   was finished.

Q> A little stupid question, what is Pink Floyd?

O> This is an English rock band... But not only that. This is also a lot
   task-oriented, object-oriented operating system.

Q> Then the same question that many asked themselves when
Windows, can a program for running a computer be called an OS?
does it require a different OS?

O> Actually, this is a purely academic question. In the world it is used
The term refers to Windows 3.1 - operating environment.
The difference between this term and OS is that the operating
The new environment imposes new rules without eliminating restrictions
the operating system with which it was launched.

Q> What does PF provide for the ZX-Spectrum platform?

O> The new operating system brings new technologies. For example
measures when a new graphics card appears do not need to be rewritten
programs - the system itself uses the new driver and will
make a withdrawal. And so on...

Q> How do you think the state of the Spectrum scene can be assessed?
   for today?

O> At the moment there is a lull. But I hope that soon
The situation will change soon. WhyI’ll make the effort myself.

Q> And the last question, what would you like to say to people who...
are they starting or have they been working on Speccy for a long time?

O> I wish young and old coders happiness in their personal lives!
   =;)

- Thank you.
- Yes, you're welcome, Lord...
