Numbering of switch blocks and switch sliders -
from left to right.
States: 0 - towards yourself, 1 - away from yourself.
Positions: 0 - off, 1 - on, x - don't care.
Switch positions for working in ZX-Word and most
other programs: 01101000 00000111 00011101.
Assignment of contacts of the IRPR-M connector:
Inputs:
3 - DataO - data bus; connect according to the diagram
5 - Data1
7 - Data2
9 - Data3
11 - Data
13 - DataS
15 - Datab
17 - Data7 - -"-
23 - /STROBE - “strobe”; shows that on the data bus
there is a true combination of 0 and 1; connect by
scheme
27 - /INIT (RESET; disable)
29 - /SELECT_IN - device selection (fix in
active state corresponding switch)
30 - /AUTOFEEDXT - automatic line feed after
carriage return; switch SAZ.7 set to 0
(valid), but leave the entrance “hanging in the air”
(log. 1); will be disabled
Outputs:19 - /ERROR - error; not needed
21 - BUSY - “busy”; needed; connect according to the diagram
25 - /ACKNOLEDGE - confirmation of data reception; not needed
Service:
2 - housing (not connected to the common wire); connect
with the ground
even numbers from 4 to 28 - common wire - connect according to the diagram
1 - +5V output through a 3.3 KOhm resistor.
On ZX-SPECTRUM: connect DataO...7, /STROBE, BUSY,
common, land; on the ZX-Lprint-III interface connect to
common wire signal /ENPR (Enable Printing) (preferably directly
in the connector so that when the connector is removed, the inter-
face).
On PC:
In WINDOWS, write "LX-800 in LPT1:" and connect to the common
wired signal from Centronix's "Paper out".
