                          PROLOGUE

I woke up because I had a nightmare: as if I
I went fishing on the Dnieper with our domestic fishing line 0.12. Pre-
Can you imagine how scared I was?
In general, I jumped out of bed in a cold sweat, and, noticing,
that my old alarm clock is working too hard, it started
him with a bast shoe. After a successful fight with the alarm clock (the first bast shoe I
never hit the alarm clock, so I even thought that the day
the coming day will be more successful than the past day), it’s almost
Having woken up, I picked up the bast shoe, put it on, then, turning it over,
reaping the victim, looked at the dial: 5:47. Oh yes, you just don't
think that I'm some kind of maniac, because... I'm still careful
picked up the miracle of mechanics and put it back on the table.
Having finally woken up, I began to think intensely: “This...
hour 5:47, the diesel train to the Dnieper leaves at 6:27... Oh, damn-
Comrade mechanical rooster, he overslept again! (I started him up at 5:20)"
I made my last remark quite loudly, and at the same time abundantly
showering her with obscene expressions.
I had little time to collect: about 15 minutes. you,
They probably thought: “In 15 minutes you can not only go fishing,
even going to space!" But you are deeply wrong, because... it's a matter
it was winter andHave you ever seen a FISHERMAN dressed for winter?
No? You're lucky it's not. You can't even imagine
how much clothing do fishermen wear in winter. But we need something else
and throw (a snack) into the tank, collect fishing belongings (gear),
and most importantly, don’t forget to take a box of bloodworms from the refrigerator (ho-
boat).
In general, after 15 minutes I, already fully equipped, you-
came from the entrance. And then I wanted to go back - some damn...
a cat crossed my path, and I also met a woman (i.e.
feminine gender), who, having politely greeted me,
wished (again to me!) a good catch. In response to her, I only burq-
muttered something inarticulate (at that moment I was more than
hundred incapable) and walked even faster.
My brain began to work intensively again (which happens under normal circumstances)
very rarely): “We need to group “good” and “bad” signs.
First the “good” ones: I knocked down the alarm clock with one bast shoe, then... hmm...
There seems to be nothing more... Although, no! When I had breakfast, I didn't...
Yanno dropped the sandwich butter side down, so that makes 2 “good”
signs. And now the “bad” ones: first my decrepit alarm clock overslept -
nickname (a real bummer) - I set him at 5:20, and he - 5:47; by-
Tom - a black cat (also a great bastard) ran across the road,
and then the worst thing that can only happen in the life of a FISHERMAN -
the woman wished good luck!...Two against three...But actually, nothing,
it can be worse (Uncle Vasya, for example, had 0 to 12!!!)
With these thoughts I walked to the station. Station dial -
of the new electronic miracle showed 6:25. I, of course, put my feet in my hands and
on the train. In the carriage I sat down next to my familiar FISHERMAN Victor
The road to the Dnieper is long, so Victor took out a fish
father's box) cards and we started playing Fool, telling
telling each other their stories...
