Nokia - 6100. Internet GPRS.

Nokia 6100 - the Internet is closer than you are
think.  Just one lost day from
your life.

So for us now there is no difference
between telephone cable for 10 and 40
bucks, that is, it is unclear how and
branded.  I bought it is unclear which one from

installation and configuration.

I am an MTS subscriber, so I will explain
connecting to gprs internet for exactly this

nokia pc suite restart your computer.

We install the modem, if it is still not
worth it.   In the control panel, select
"telephone and modem", in the window of the same name
click on the modems tab and press it
"add", in the window that appears, put
check the box "do not detect modem type (select
from the list)", and then everything is clear there.

After installing the modem back into the panel
control - we need the Nokia program
modem option. Indicate the entry point there -
internet.mts.ru.OK.

Almost everything.

All that remains is to create the connection. Open
network environment, in it - display all
connections.    Next create a new one
connection.   Connect to the Internet,
connect manually, via a regular modem,
choose nokia if you have several of them,
enter connection name, number

mts, password is also mts.  All.  Almost everything.
One caveat.

Open the created connection, go to
properties, here we need the network tab, in
Select tcp/ip and click properties.
Click the "advanced" button, disable
check the box "use compression"

Now press call.
