   Hello!


   Newspaper Nicron starts printing the story (report, 
narrative ...) about the event, entitled "Constructions of 
Chaos '999 'and the trip eight Muscovites in the city on the 
Neva River came into this event. 

   Festival of Computer Art "Chaos Constructions", so named by 
its founder Vsevolod Potapov, aims to useful to continue the 
tradition of the annual competition, the so-called Democompo, 
which unveils its latest development - graphic works 
("Images"), music and, of course, demonstrate - the authors of 
computer programs and works that are attributable to the genre 
of "computer art". By definition, these festivals must first of 
all a celebration of computer shows, meetings and reviews by 
various authors, moderate - beer:), although presentation of 
the latest developments of computer hardware and "Serious" 
programs are also usually the case. The tradition of amateur 
festival of computer art is the story of the 1995, when the 
same St. Petersburg hosted the first mass computer "parade" of 
programmers and writers, fans, called "Enlight". In 1996, 
Enlight'96 was first presented to the Spectrum, which produced 
"bombshell", forgive me for this trite cliche. Festival 1997 
has already collected nearly one spektrumistov, so were many of 
them and so they are overshadowed by other platforms. 
Enthusiasm and mass Enlight-and 1997, unfortunately, were 
marred by ... It was a different story, witnesses and attended 
by Moscow spektrumisty were, and detailed coverage of events in 
1997 can be found, for example, a 49-m Nicron-room as well. 
Festival 1998 is already taken, Moscow, and this writer was 
among the organizers of the Moscow Festival "FunTop98", 
successfully held at the end of August 1998. About This was

   Fighting through time there is a distrust of the masses, the 
outflow of talented authors and the apparent extinction of the 
scene, the idea of ​​festivals-democompo reached until 1999, 
and, looking ahead, you can stress: got a new, positive 
momentum. 

   Chaos Constructions'999 was declared early enough 
information about it toured for Fido and the Internet; Nicron 
also turned his attention to the announcement of the festival. 
At least in Moscow (speak for themselves and their friends) 
about CC'999 knew him prepared and, when finally sounded the 
exact date - July 3 - and it was determined the exact location 
of the event, from Moscow Peter went in a group of eight
