   Here you can learn about the rules of
PARADOX demo party. These rules have not yet
final, but will soon
the final version.

   And another one, most likely between 2
days PARADOX'a in Azov will bat,
which can participate to attend.

   Venue:

   - Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

   - Venue: Palais des Sports,
enormous room, raschitanoe somewhere at 4
thousand people.

   - Two PC platform and the ZX Spectrum.

   - If two weeks before the party people
expresses the wish to come with their
computers, it is possible to organize
grid to the party.

   - The maximum duration of the show - 60
seconds.

   - Only 10 entries.

 4 kb intro compo:

   - The maximum size of 4096 bytes intro.

   - Provided by DMPI.

   - The maximum duration of the show - 3
minutes.

   - Only 15 entries.

 64kb intro compo:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   - The maximum size of 65536 bytes intro.

   - Provided by DMPI and DirectX.

   - The maximum duration of the show - 5
minutes.

   - Only 15 entries.

 8mb demo compo:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   - Provided by DMPI and DirectX.

   - The maximum duration of the show - 15
minutes.

   - Size of file in a compressed form (zip) are not
exceed 8mb.

   - Total 20 papers.

 Observations on all PC intro / demo compo:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   - The maximum allowed memory -
32mb.

   - Do not use 3dfx or
other hardware accelerators.

   - Allowed the use of specifications
Vesa 2.0 (UniVBE).

   - Maximum resolution 800x600x24bit

   - All demos / intros should work with
GUS or SB16, if necessary

   - Net animation is prohibited.

   - In all the demos / intros should be
opportunity to reach out to Escape.

 Traditional music compo:

   - Do not packaged samples (in
Impulse Tracker).

   - Allowed to use no more than 32
channels.

   - Maximum Module 4 mb.

   - Permitted music formats: S3M,
XM, IT.

   - The maximum playing time - 4
minutes.

   - Only 15 entries.

 Alternative music compo:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   Deprecated-packed samples (in
Impulse Tracker).

   - Allowed to use no more than 32
channels.

   - Maximum Module 4 mb.

   - Permitted music formats: S3M,
XM, IT.

   - The maximum playing time - 4
minutes.

   - Only 15 entries.

 MP3 music compo:

   - Maximum Module 4 mb.

   - The maximum playing time - 4
minutes.

   - Only 15 entries.

 Pixeled (Hand-Drawn) GFX compo:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   - Maximum resolution 1024x768x
x24bit.

   - Graphics should not have any
logos or references to the group / author.

   - All formats are supported SEA.

   - Total 25 papers.

 Rendered GFX compo:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   - Maximum resolution 1024x768x
x24bit.

   - Graphics should not have any
logos or references to the group / author.

   - All formats are supported SEA.

   - Total 25 papers.

 ASCII / ANSI compo:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   - Two size 80/25 and 80/50.

   - Standard PC or your own font
font loader.

   - Only 20 and 20 of ANSI ASCII works.

 Animation compo:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   - Formats: AVI, MPG, MOV.

   - Possibility to show with Video Tape.

   - The duration for 15 minutes.

   - Only 15 entries.

b. ZX Spectrum compos:

 4kb intro compo:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   - Code size 4096 bytes max +
BASIC zagruschchik.

   - Duration of the show for 5 minutes.

 Requirements for all ZX intro / demo compo:

on the standard 5. 25 ~ DD or 3. 5 "disc
which can be copied to the program
teledisk and translated into a format TRD.

   - Boot to 4kb and 16kb intro, should
be issued:


   1 RANDOMIZE USR 15619: REM: LOAD "xxxxx"

   2 RANDOMIZE USR start


   where: xxxxx - the name of the code block to
drive

        adres - load address code
block

        start - start address of the intro.

   - Allowed to use OUT (# FD), A
