  Greetings to all members of ZX-LEGION!

           HELLO, Sergei Storm!


   Very happy that there is in our people
who care about the fate of a small
SPECCY, who are ready at such a difficult
time to meet the simple users in terms of information support. 
Not secret that in Belarus Russian computer magazines come with 
many months delay. Choking from lack of fresh

information and programs, many users
forced to leave the "ZX-SPECTRUM", preferring to PC or even 
worse - video game consoles. Save the situation can only be 
developing Belarusian our software industry.

Really we do not have talent? No
is! Just need to find them and create conditions for work. Only 
then will we be able to withstand the stiff competition from 
more powerful platforms. 


   Gruppa ZX-LEGION one of the few who
has the potential to become the leader of the Belarusian 
software market. Confirmation of this - Minsk modem newspaper 
ENERGY. Along with ECHO, MOVE, BODY, LPRINT, IMPULSE, etc. - 
this is what you need. Interesting and original articles, 
beautiful registration, every such publication because of

creative competition with each other prompts search for new 
ideas, improve your technique. And it is welcome because such 
competition provides a framework for quality programs.

ENERGY in this respect stands out
their fellows. The only thing in terms of
friendly criticism I wish to
the amount of entertainment media does not exceed useful for 
coders and electronics. Such a bad trend is already beginning to

exercise its negative aspects. Of course, I'm not against humor 
in the articles but everything should be the measure. It is 
hoped that this remark will be taken into attention all the 
creators of our literary publications. 


   And now, a little bit about another topic. In recent years 
sharply increased excitement around platform "Amiga". It comes 
before many comparing it with the old SPECCY

concludes: "The Spectrum - dead! Time
move to the Amiga!


   Since I came to this speech, I will
their views on this issue, risking
incur the wrath of some
mates. And yet ...


   I do not understand and hurt when the pages of a popular 
computer magazines (not called specifically so as not to 
offend), I see the line advertising company computer "AMIGA". 
Gentlemen, think again, do you not notice that you are ruining 
SPECCY!!! Because of this, a good half domestic programmers 
throws our favorite car, in fact, to their

fate. Yes, of course, "Amigo" is very cool
machine, but we should not forget about the simple
users who can not afford it.
I can hear the roar of the objections to my address,
what they say 350-400 $ not so much money, but ordinary USER 
not afford to buy, often even the second drive, the more 
"Amigo." So, gentlemen, that programmers should not leave 
SPECCY. Especially to talk about his untimely demise.



   We all must unite: the programmers and users. Only united
Together we can retain our position
after covering the market with quality domestic
programs. I hope that the new ENLIGHT'97
be able to prove to everyone that will SPECTRUM
live a very long time.


   Finally, I wish you all a fruitful and long work, success in 
business, which you have chosen and I sincerely hope

that programs marked "ZX-LEGION" will
enjoy well-deserved popularity in
Belarus and abroad.
