    COMPUTER ART FESTIVAL

          MILLENNIUM DEMOPARTY

       Minsk, 12-13 May 2000

   On the festival of computer
art "Millennium" in Minsk, I was
known long before its official
ad. At that time, has just completed CC'999, the memory has not 
yet erased last year's party in St Petersburg. This there was a 
time of universal "patiynoy" fever when homegrown demoparty

plans to conduct something similar here, here, in Minsk. I 
would be happy, but a sober mind prevailed over emotions. 
Another party! After all of Paradox, CAF'e, after the shameful 
failure of the Di: Halt, do another festival at least unwise. 
Yes, even in Belarus. But who will come to us? 

   At first, I met the idea with bayonets.
Performing in his newspaper "Polesie" firm
line, aimed at supporting the "Chaos
Constructions '2000 ", I just could not do otherwise. Moreover, 
I believed and still believe that the so-called" small-town 
"hangouts only harm and no of the dying scene. I launched the 
campaign to boycott the "Millennium" met violent resentment on 
the part of the Organizing Committee - Ivan Poliakov, Paul 
Pavlov and Sergei Sturm (DJ.PSYCH). First, in letters

trips to Minsk, was constant pressure
