   I recently decided to fly stations BBS ...
Pleasantly pleased that all stations operate on schedule!
But here's what surprised: some sysops-newbies still leave the 
files that I would like to download the first in the directory. 
And, Naturally, you can not download them. For example, the 
CHIP B.B.S there directory is the gaming CHIP'a ... Here he is 
indignant when he read the disk directories twice in a row!

Sysops! E-mail directory at the beginning of the invitation and 
so on! By the way, Does anyone know what C-DOS supports the 
Russian alphabet? Much nicer to see the invitation, written in 
Russian. For this should write to the directory in the format 
codes ZXWord. The only non is then copied to the drive Conver 
Commander'om as it will automatically reset the seventh bit of 
the first symbol name. But it can be fooled, if you make the 
first character of a space. 


   By the way, and actually have a pretty good CHIRa BBS (I do 
not I say that on Saturdays she works in the daytime!).

   Until now, people do not know how to play the network game 
option "LASER SQUAD" ... A "SPECTROFON" a hundred years ago, 
yet wrote about it. So, I / O port - FFEF, number - 20 bit 
input - 4 bits O - 7. And that's what "SPECTROFON" did not 
write: the fourth byte in the BASIC loader controls the speed 
of the transmit / receive! It can be change in the range - 0-FF 
(it is advised that and your partner there stood the same 
meaning as in you). True, this is not enough which will, as in 
this version of the game rather stupidly organized input / 
output (relative to the CDOS modem, anyway), so that decent 
results do not wait ...

   To make the AY-mouse - need a mouse to "Corvette." To buy a 
mouse from the "Corvette" - to arrive at Mitinskaya radio 
market and get to places the Z-11. Free it will not give, so 
grab with a 10 thousand rubles. Well, this mouse to connect ...

   At BBS'kah I came across a letter, STEVERa with THE BIRDom. I
now I will not write about that almost all the tips from THE
BIRDa sysop, zhelezyachnikam and coders are absolutely useless, 
and in many cases, and tactless ... But that's what I would 
like to talk: and STEVER and THE BIRD believe that hacking 
domestic program is immoral ... Hence Western programs to hack 
morally, and our free! Oh, and customs!

   Another thought on the BBS: often the station is no 
information about what needs to be there to rock. For example, 
I ashamed to hold office hours the station and its drive space, 
it programs. But when I know that the sysop is looking for that

or that program, I have great pleasure in it will download it, 
if I can find (and I have a rather big archive). 


   And another Fenichka: on one of the BBS I came across an 
almost completely filled with wheels (one was about 100 sectors 
in another - 200), so that I at all desire to not be able to 
download there is nothing substantial. The funny thing is that 
the sysop of this station is of particular severity to the 
riders, that's how I dropped my rating, it is not wanting.

   I was frankly pleased with the game "Fire Gear". And 
everyone knows Codes levels? In fact, they can peek in BASIC 
loader, but for those who are familiar with the Disk monitor 
only in absentia - LEVEL2: 502, LEVEL3: 738, LEVEL4: 164, 
VIDEOS: 940. VIDEOS - opportunity to see all introductory 
cartoons row. Rather, almost all, as the latter can be seen, 
only winning the last level. Unfortunately, I have it and have 
not seen. Game I passed (with the "invulnerability" of course), 
but the last part where I was, in theory, should have been 
congratulated for winning (or reproach fraud) - tightly hung. I 
guess I have a broken version? But in fact, the game would not 
hurt to compress, and assembly code of the program could be 
removed ...
