terms, I decided to write a brief little article
about what is IRC, and how people use

connect to the IRC, is on PC, Mac, Amiga, Sun.
What about the rest I do not know.

   If you sit on a PC and also use
Win3.11 (like me), then I recommend you mIRC 5.31
(Or later if you find). What about other platforms
yet I can not give advice, because not yuzal -
so just do not know.

   We assume that the IRC-client you already have
(About an internet connection I'm not talking - it's
a matter of course:)). Run your
mIRC / pIRCh / ... Next, you need to connect to irc
server. There are many irc
servers, so you can choose the most
appropriate. Typically, the list of servers attached to
your prog. If there is no such, we will have
typing the address manually. A couple of months ago I
would recommend to you a Finnish server irc.funet.fi,
but now it seems overloaded to the limit, and
so I use our Moscow irc.ru, well, or at
extreme case irc.portal.ru (before or during the

spare nick'i, nick (aka nickname) - nickname

   Upon successful connection, you can start
communicate with people. This can occur in two
ways - either by communication channel (a kind of virtual

   IRCNet channels in bulk: 5 to 6 thousand.
