 *** AY-MOUSE ***

The idea is to directly connect to port A of the mu-
lingual mouse coprocessor from the Corvette PC. In this case there is no
No modifications are required - plug and play. If
If you don’t have just such a mouse, then you can convert any one into a “Corvette”
skaya" according to the proposed scheme. The advantage of AY-mouse compared to,
for example, with KEMPSTON mouse, lies in the ease of connection
to the computer, a small number of parts and connecting wires
(thanks to this, the parts can be placed in the mouse body).
To remake you need a mouse with at least 8 wires in
tourniquet, because signals are used directly from existing
It has 4 optocouplers: VER1,VER2,HOR1,HOR2.

PAO...PA7 - pins of port A of the music coprocessor.

SETTING UP: Achieve the appearance of stable periodic signals
at outputs 2,4,6,8 of the D1 chip when moving the mouse. Perhaps
that for this you will have to tighten the corresponding inputs of TL2 resistor
sides to +5V or GROUND. A more precise selection is also possible
capacitance and resistor at output D1.6. Some mice produce increased
limited number of pulses per centimeter of movement. For them it is necessary
dim frequency divider C by 2 (1533 TM2) or mechanical modification
(seal extra holes).

PROGRAMMING: First, configure port A using the commands:
    OUT 65533.7 : OUT 49149.255 : OUT 65533.14
Now when writing to the port49149 numbers 112 multiplexer D6 re-
switches to the vertical movement counter (bits 0...3), and
when writing the number 48 to this port - to the counter of horizontal transfers
displacements D4 and, at the same time, through element D1.6 and the RC chain
The initial value "8" is set on both counters. Bits
4 and 5 indicate the state of the buttons (pressed - “0”). Bit 7 is used
is used for testing a computer and creating effects such as mul-
ticolor - you don't have to connect it.
