Sometimes, in many publications, here and there you see  
how everything is in down, and what will happen to us. Frankly, I'm tired of it. For
to all pessimists, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with this view of this

  ...It just so happened that during our silence in my
different thoughts periodically appeared in my head, essentially related to
things so different and at the same time united. Indeed, everything
these things directly related to the same topic. Spectrum themes...           
  At first it wassuch individual sketches, ideas,
reasoning... Then they gradually grouped,
differentiated and came to the form in which they are
now. And all this is dedicated, of course, to the Spectrum.

 People have different attitudes towards the Spectrum. Say this word in
a crowd of complete strangers whom you met by chance
anywhere. I'm sure they won't even pay attention to you.
For them, this is not a concept. It's all just a word whose meaning they
they don't know.                                                       
                                                                
  One day at the market, "...Sinclair" came to me. I shuddered, and
turning around, feverishly began to look with his eyes for someone who could
pronounce this magical combinationletters ?                      
  Some, however, may remember something distant,
associated with childhood, a pack of cassette tapes, and a broken joystick.
“Yes, I have a byte lying around in my closet somewhere,” my friend once told me.
a new acquaintance from work, when he saw a Spectrum on my desk.
He said this completely indifferently...                         
  In the best case (I don’t know for whom), Spectrum is for such people -
name of an outdated computer.  We won't go into detail on them
stop. In this context they are not interesting to us.       
                                                                
  Spectrumists... only for them the two letters "ZX" have meaning.
How can you briefly and clearly define this concept?  People,
giving the word Spectrum a special meaning?              
  So who are they? Those who have a “real” computer?
Or those who always feel a thrill in their souls when they hear the word
Spectrum.  Perhaps I have grown up a long time ago. And my Spectrum, long ago
It broke and is in the closet.  Am I a spektrumist? And who will it be
decide?  Or those who now proudly call themselves “SCENERS”
without interruption their names flash in various dubious press

  We sometimes do not know the true meaning of the words we use without saying
already about assessing the meaning of our actions...                         
                                                                
  Yet initially, Spectrum is a society.  Because only in
society, no matter how small or large, are possible
various concepts.  Only for members of this society, Spectrum
can be both a computer and a concept.  Each of its elements is
Spectrumist.                                                    
                                                                
  Perhaps there is no need to go into a completely different area -
sociology, which I understand no better than a Primus. B
In principle, our task will answer a completely different question.      
                                                                
  Society, naturally, is a social element. Any of them has
history, traditions, culture and philosophy.  Society culture
Spectrum could take a place next to the culture of the whole
states.  After all, we are a creative society.  And our heritage
huge.  Moreover, this society is open to everyone. No neednothing to become its link. No need to pay money.  Create!

  No one has the right to say, I am a Spectrumist and you are not, only
because I have an emulator and I don't do anything. But idiots

                       The beginning began                             
                                                                
  Of course, everything has a beginning. And Clive Sinclair, giving the world
his unit, hardly expected that it would create something greater,
rather than a "cheap color computer" Of course, the society that arose simultaneously with the computer
can easily be called primitive. And it was clearly divided
only for programmers and users. Everyone experienced this stage
platforms, but only a few have survived to this day. A

 Many years passed before the Spectrum Society
new links.  The turning point occurred at a time when manufacturers
branded software stopped releasing their commercial programs,
leaving users alone with their computer. It pushed
talented people to developprogramming. Around the same time
time popular trends of the Demo Scene, in full swing on SBC and
originating on the Amiga gave impetus to the entry of the Spectrum society

  Any restructuring of society is sometimes not the most favorable
way is reflected on him. For some time the Spectrum seemed
died forever. In bourgeois countries, in fact in those days it was

post-Soviet society, market closure, and a host of other

acceptable choice: either domestic freaks like various

attracting the user with its colorfulness and huge quantity
games, other programs that we couldn’tbrag about everyone else
freaks combined.  Moreover, domestic developments, with
improved every year, giving hope for a brighter future

  The real apotheosis of all this came, along with the outbreak of
Spectrum phenomenon SCENE.  The first Demos, if you look at them from
the heights of our current concepts about design, coding,
effects, style, graphics, music... were, to put it mildly, funny,
but this new breath has already swept the sleepy Spectrum world. U
people literally grew wings from this impetuous
creative flight.  In a short time, dozens of Demos emerged
groups... SoThe scene was taking shape. Elite. Everyone wanted to go there
for his own: someone wanted to become famous. Someone just did something
what he could do, what brought joy to him and others, someone just
showed off, nevertheless, the progress in creativity was enormous
moved forward with steps. Numerous Demo Creativity festivals
thundered here and there, even the foreign countries woke up from their
lethargic sleep: The New Wave echoed loudly there too.

Was there any trouble? If this whole blooming paradise were destroyed
by the elements, like Pompeii, who died under the ashes of Vesuvius, this
could be called a disaster. But in my opinion, the phenomena
happened to the Spectrum after its Golden Age rather
natural rather than tragic...                                 
  Festivals were booming, demos were being written... Not just demos. Level
software for the Spectrum has grown tens of times, and unfortunately, it has come up against
existing and rather rigid Spectrum framework.  Whatever
the iron was full, do something about its limitations,
conditioned primarily by the very concept of the Spectrum, which
is still only 8-bit... No, of course, they tried!
                                                                
                                                      
                                                                
  Rather, the problem is not in 8 bits, but in Spectrumists and ideologists    
Spectrum.  Almost no one wants to ruin their Spectrum by soldering
various lotions.
