FOUNTAIN PD SOFTWARE NEWS. Thanks to the kindness of the delectable Tara, Fountain HQ is now equipped with a big grown up PC. This groaning monster of a machine will come in handy to put all the Speccy software ever released onto a nice big database (hopefully one day I'll own it all!). We are all shy, fumbling PC virgins here, so it will take some time to master the MS-DOS, but we'll get there in the end. It will also take some weight off of the +2's future use.
If anyone can offer any advice or point us in the right direction for shareware libraries, we'd be more than grateful. It's a Compaq 386 with 70MB hard drive and those big smelly 5.25 floppies. It seems to have MS-DOS 5 installed at the moment, which isn't up to date but will do us fine. Do these Speccy emulators actually work I wonder? Oh yeah, we've got a VGA colour monitor too...
Sinclair Classic #10 is released on 4th January and will hopefully continue to be 80k (I must apologise for SC8, it wasn't what it should have been). Before then, the mighty Knuckle Girls will be releasing their third demo, Lollipop - for broad-minded adults only. In fact, both Prism and Alchemist may refuse to stock it, but it will be available direct from us (tape version only I'm afraid).
The +D is coming folks, hopefully shoved down the chimney by a fat geezer in a red coat. Also coming before yuletide is the H-Core demo, a 128 compilation of hardcore, un-commercial type S-Tracker tunes, featuring exclusive mixes from Pandagirl and LA (of Extacy 3) to name but two. Crusty old musos are not advised to listen to this demo - you won't like it.
The next page features a catalogue of all our software released so far. All titles (except fs001) are available from either Prism or Alchemist, or direct from us if you are not in a hurry - we've only got tape decks at the moment and hate doing copies on those crappy old cassettes you keep sending us...
