people rushed to install such lamps in their entrances. On the first and on

energy-saving ones burned out in exactly the same way and in exactly the same 
places. Moreover, they cost tens of times more. Therefore 
the management company quickly replaced them with LEDs 
voice controlled lamps. In the sense that they are

you say out loud “the magic three-story word”, the lamp immediately 
lights up. They've been hanging for 5 years now and have never changed.

It all started with the purchase of a wall lamp in a store
IKEA in October 2016. The model I liked turned out to be
E14 socket, but I didn’t have such lamps at home. That's why I
drew attention to the seller's recommendation (under the price tag it is indicated
We recommend this onelamp...) and took the indicated lamp from the shelf.
It turned out to be LED. Other lamps at IKEA are no longer
were sold.

Knowing nothing about LED lamps other than that they are very
economical, I was literally stuck with a lamp in my hand - should I take this one or
buy a regular incandescent lamp? After turning the lamp for a while
I put it back in my hands and went to see what other
there are lamps. After looking at them all, I decided to try them out. Not
I like it, I'll return it later. Fortunately, the packaging allowed me to carefully
remove the lamp from the box and put it back if necessary
without damage.

Now I’ll tell you what models were on sale at that time.
In general, all LED lamps could be divided into “cheap”
(these are RYET models) and “expensive” (LEDARE models). From the point of view
buyer, the differences between them are small. LEDARE has a little more
power consumption, higher color rendering index
or color rendering index CRI. The higher it is, the more
The colors look natural. And these models support
dimming, i.e. brightness adjustment. More information at
there is nothing to be gained from the box.

Further, the lamps differ in the connection method (type of socket),
luminous flux (there were lamps of 200, 400, 600 and 1000 Lm),
size (the brighter the lamp, the larger it is) and color
temperature (2700 K or 4000 K). Most of the lamps were frosted
and had a temperature of 2700 K. If we compare lamps 2700 K and 4000
K with the sameluminous flux, then for the second lamps the consumed
power is higher.

I chose the two cheapest lamp models. One model with
cartridge E14 (small matte ball) with luminous flux 400
Lm, second model with E27 cartridge (also matte ball) with flow
200 lm. I took 5 of the second ones at once for a chandelier in a large room.

stick out too much from the lampshades. The cost of a lamp with an E14 socket was
199 rubles, and the cost of E27 was 169 rubles. For comparison
cost of OSRAM matte balls with a power of 60 W, which I
bought before this for a chandelier, it costs 31 rubles (at the time
purchase of LED lamps) and such lamps were enough for about 1.5
years of work, after which they burned out. And the inscription on the packaging

pays for itself even if it saves nothing on electricity. And
with savings it pays for itself several times over.

I returned home from the store and installed a new one on the wall.

Before my next trip to IKEA, I decided to read what
In general, there are lamps, who makes them and how much they cost.
Somehow I really doubted that IKEA stocked these lamps
cheap. Still, the cost of LEDARE lamps with a flux of 600 lm was
499 rubles, and changing all the lamps in the apartment turned out to be too much
expensive. Internet, for the search query "Testing LED
IKEA lamps", gave me a link to an article by Alexey Nadezhin on
geektimes.ru. From reviewing and testing lamps, I learned about such
hidden parameters (not indicated on the packaging), such as a coefficient
light pulsations, luminous angle and true coefficient values
color rendering CRI, power consumption and glow temperature.
Small deviations in power and temperature do not bother me at all
worried. I still don’t know what CRI is and how it affects
but it is better if it is larger. But relatively high
The pulsation coefficient of some models upset me.
The pulsations of expensive LEDARE models even reached 20%. For example
my 400 lm ball with E14 socket had a pulsation coefficient of 15%,
but it was with this lamp that I planned to spend time with
a book. Ubeads 200 lm E27 pulsations were 8%. But visually I
I didn’t notice these pulsations. However, the purchased lamps are all
I still had to return it, and since I’m going to IKEA, I’ll immediately
I will buy brighter lamps.

Two days later I went to IKEA and returned the 200 Lm lamps, to

In addition to these lamps, I took two RYET 600 Lm 2700 K lamps for 299
rubles and try the expensive LEDARE 600 Lm 4000 K for 499 rubles.
I just wanted to see how such white light would look
at home.

A lamp with a temperature of 4000 K made my eyes hurt, and this
I was never able to use the lamp anywhere else afterwards.
This lamp turned out to have one of the highest coefficients
pulsations of light and the shade itself was not comfortable for my
eye. It will no longer be possible to return the lamp to the store, since the models
LEDARE, unlike RYET, is sealed in a plastic blister, and
It is simply impossible to get the lamp without destroying the packaging. Temporarily
I installed this lamp in a lamp in the corridor, where there is light

found their place in the chandelier in the large room. And although they are noticeable
stuck up, I didn’t change them anymore. Now you can watch
TV by lighting two or three lamps in the chandelier, and reading by turning on
all five lamps at the same time. The remaining two lamps are 400 lm each
installed in the bathroom and toilet. But the RYET 600 lm lamps
turned out to be unsuitable for use due to the contrary
buzzing sound when turned on. This buzzing could be heard even at one and a half
meters from the lamp. So I went to IKEA again and returned these
lamps, indicating a buzzing sound. The lamps were checked to turn on and
accepted without problems.

After about two weeks I noticed that the lamp was in
the toilet began to blink briefly, i.e. for a moment
lost brightness. And on the contrary, the lamp in the bath began to flash,
i.e. became brighter. After another week, the lamp in the bathtub just
went out after about 20 minutes of this flashing. I unscrewed both
defective lamps and again went to the IKEA store to return already
under warranty. The money was returned to me again, but for some reason
indicated that I had already had two returns. This remark makes me
alerted me, and although there are no restrictions on returns for me
imposed, I decided not to deal with IKEA lamps anymore and
choose another manufacturer. And to the toilet and bathroom temporarily
installed incandescent lamps.

I still have to buy a few more lampsfor a complete transition to
LED lamps.

I went to nearby stores and looked at what kind of lamps they had.

lamptest.ru, where I picked up the lamps. I chose Lexman lamps. This

cheaper, the warranty on them was 5 years (versus 2 years in IKEA) and for

But some lamps in reality had slightly different meanings
luminous flux than indicated on the packaging. Therefore, before

Leroy and checked their parameters on lamptest. And only after that
I went to the store and bought a few more, but not all, the missing ones
lamps.

I chose 550 Lm lamps with a temperature of 3000 K for the toilet and bathroom.
For the kitchen and small room and in the corridor I chose an 806 Lm lamp
3000 K. And about a month later I went to the store for the last one
lamp in the middle room and chose an OSRAM lamp 600 Lm 2700 K for
158 rubles. By that time, lamp prices had dropped significantly.
So, 550 lm lamps have fallen in price by almost 100 rubles, but
soon disappeared from sale. Currently on sale
only lamps 470 lm for 115 rubles and the next step for
brightness is already 806 lm for 151 rubles in a plastic flask and for 215
rubles in a glass flask. At my home withglass flask.

Now it remains to understand what economic effect such
replacement? I estimated by eye how long each one was turned on.

savings in winter are approximately 28 kWh per month.

month. Taking into account the summer months, we can multiply by 1.5 and get
in theory about 3 years. And it is not yet clear how much the figure

What conclusions can be drawn?

1. You should not buy lamps with a luminous flux below 400 Lm. Their
there is simply nowhere to apply it. 200 lm lamps are only suitable for
a table lamp shining downwards, and a children's night light so as not to
miss the pot. It is better to take brighter lamps.
2. Lamps with a temperature of 4000 K turned out to be very unpleasant for
my vision. It’s better to take 3000 K lamps. Well, or 2700 K, if
I like the yellow light, familiar from childhood.
3. It is better to take lamps without dimming support, as they
cheaper and, as a rule, lesspulsating.
4. LED lamps work great at low temperatures
voltage, and their brightness does not change at all. I have in
a long-standing problem in the house, which was more or less corrected only in
this year - reduced network voltage. In winter the voltage dropped
up to 198 V. At the same time, incandescent lamps gave approximately no light.
Therefore, if you have the same problem, then it’s definitely worth
replace lamps with LED ones. By the way, I tested the lamp
IKEA 400 lm voltage reduction via laboratory
transformer The lamp worked perfectly up to 40 V, and then immediately
went out. True, to turn on the lamp it was necessary to lift
voltage up to approximately 90 V.
5. Be sure to visit lamptest.ru and check the results
tests the lamp before purchasing it. Very often cheap and incomprehensible
brands greatly exaggerate the brightness on packaging.
6. Take flicker-free lamps with a ripple factor of 1% and
less. There are plenty of such lamps, and you can always choose something. But if
the lamp you like has a higher pulsation coefficient,
for example 10%, don’t despair, because you’re unlikely to notice it
without special devices. It is believed that incandescent lamps have
the ripple factor is 25-30% and no one notices it.
