        Welcome
              on FunTop!


   I apologize for the unwitting pun, but it is unlikely for 
someone is the secret to translate the English word "Welcome". 
At this same site translation in general is misplaced, because 
the "Welcome" - a name Company from St. Petersburg, whose 
leader Evgeny Buder not only attended the festival, but also 
made a wonderful and generous gesture - made in prize money and 
FunTop-one thousand "new" RUB! Thanks again to you, Evgeny!




   In view of the sponsorship fee Evgeny Budera and minus 
orgrashodov prize money amounted to 3,510 rubles. According to 
Regulation FT98, the distribution of prize money in the 
nominations and sites was as follows:


Demo compo: 1 st place - 1053 p.;
        2 nd place - 702 p.;
        3 place - 351 p.;

4K-Intro compo: 1 place - 351 p.;
        2 nd place - 234 p.;
        3 place - 117 p.;

Graphics compo
and Music compo: 1 place - 175 p.;
        2 nd place - 117 p.;
        3 rd place - 58 p.



   The Organizing Committee of the International Festival of 
Computer Art In 1998 on a platform of ZX-Spectrum "FunTop98" 
officially informed about the distribution of prizes and 
publish the summary tables of voting results on all submitted 
to the Festival work.


   Device tables: the number of the name of the file; summary
about the authors, artists groups and geography of the 
participants, the number of points accrued by the number of 
votes for the award of the first, second and third place in 
accordance with previously published formula (3 * m1 * m2 2 + 
m3, where m1, m2, m3golosa for first, second and third place). 

   Due to the limited amount of familiarity in the rows of 
tables are not given the full title of work, and in some cases 
significantly reduced secondary information about the authors. 

   Total has been deposited with 138 correctly completed voting 
cards. 


   In determining the winners in the category Graphics Compo in
last day of the Festival was made an unfortunate mistake caused 
by the inability to verify the directory demo disc with the 
records in the minutes of the contest schedules due to lack of 
electricity during the counting of votes. According to the 
results of exact counting winners of graphic works, winners 
First and second place, do not correspond to declared at the 
awards ceremony on August 22. Organizing Committee apologize to

(TeeRay / Extreme), who took The first prize in the contest of
