Department of Physics, specialty 070300 "Ballistics."

 Training of engineers, physicists
This specialization provides Department of Applied Gas
dynamics. "

 As part of this specialty
are trained professionals able to create theoretical and 
mathematical models complex gas-hydrodynamic and

teplomassobmennyh processes
chemically reacting media, and
as fast
processes associated with explosive
release or transformation of energy.
 In the laboratories of the department students undertaking 
work relating to with the study of dynamic and

wave processes in gases of combustion gases and condensed 
substances, as well as ways and methods of measurement

parameters of the study of physical processes.


 The complexity of the processes
involves in-depth computer training, including
study of programming languages, studying a wide range of
numerical methods for various physical and chemical processes, 
methods, automation of the experiment. 

Graduates of the department are focused
for activities in research and development - design 
organizations engaged in development and testing new rocket and 
space technology and research in the field physics of fast 
processes, as well as to work in higher educational 
institutions as teachers and researchers.


 Training of specialists is
two stages and
is the target. The first four
years of training are maintained on the base
Department of Senior ChelGU.Studenty
courses specialize in
major research
and design organizations located in our
area.

 Graduates of the department receive
modern university education, combining the basic physical and 
mathematical training with the target of special training 
focused on work in leading research centers in Russia, the 
distribution of which guarantees an interesting and effective 
creative work.


 Entrance examinations are held at the Physics Department at
second half of July and include
the following examinations:


     - Mathematics (written);

     - Physics (oral);

     - An essay.
