                              Oshibochka


    The roof was slippery and badly rattled under my feet. 
Commissioner Fuhe revolver in hand, cautiously stepped on a tin

surface, mentally cursing and the roof and the rain, but
more than just a criminal, because of which he had to climb
here. Suddenly, in front of someone ran.

    - Stop! - Fuhe yelled and fired at the sound. All was quiet.
Trying to walk as quietly as possible, the commissioner came to 
the place whence came the sound of a second ago. Shined his 
flashlight, he saw the prostrate body and blood stain on the 
smooth roof surface. The cat was black, and the commissioner 
was not surprised the fact that he had not seen before. He sat 
down next to the cat body and, shivering, trembling hands, took 
from his pocket a crumpled a packet of "Blue Bird".


    Hands clearly did not hear it - affects the nervous
surge of recent days, sleepless nights of observations and
reflection. Strood lit a cigarette, Fuhe happy
inhaled and closed his eyes. Rear heard footsteps.

    Commissioner, squeezing tighter gun, shone in the darkness.

the dead cat. Come, shine here!


    - It's criminal - said flatly Fuhe and shined.

    - Iezus Maria! - Exclaimed the porter. - Yes this is

    - It does not matter - said gloomily Commissioner. - She 
stole a piece of sausages at the Attorney General.


    - Ha ha ha! - Nervously laughed his companion. - Oshibochka
