INTERNET & FIDO - On the teleconference on the Spectrum.

The most significant event of last week was the start of voting 
for a new international konferetsii relcom. comp. speccy. Talk 
of the statute newsgroup (the so-called phase RFD) was held 
from 1 to 15 November. It now remains to collect the necessary 
votes.  Currently, there are several telekonfrentsy on the 
Spectrum. First of all - an international conference comp. sys. 
sinclair In this internet conference attended by people from 
around the world, the continued interest and love for the 
Spectrum so far. It discusses game and system programs, search 
games, questions emulation of Spectrum on other platforms 
advertised the new web-pages and a server with Spectrum 
subjects. It is not uncommon is the message: "Buy Zx-Spectrum" 
and even "Buy such and such a game." Official conference 
language is naturally English.  Russian-language internet - 
Conferences on Spectrum does not currently exist. There are 
only two FIDO-conferences, however, freely available (at least, 
read only; -)) through internet. They are called fido7. zx. 
spectrum and fido7. spb. speccy With regard to the last 
conference, I can only say that this is yet another 
confirmation of the fact: Peter - the center of Spectrum in the 
world. And it seems, really is true. Judge yourself: Peter is a 
major center for hardware-development and, perhaps, the only 
place where you can sell the author's program and get paid for 
it. Perhaps that is why the authors of new programs with the 
hope of turning to the Petersburg traders. Example what: Slonim 
Plutonia Vitebsk and Civilization, obviously, poyavyatsya in 
the first place there. (But it is, however, offtopic, sorry 
that no one has proposed ways to disseminate author programs we 
have in Belarus.) Russian-speaking conference fido7. zx. 
spectrum is focused primarily on fidoshnikov-spektrumistov, 
which admittedly will be more than inetchikov. This conference 
has fileecho with a sufficiently large traffic, ie, the 
programs are no less than messagov:) Demo author programs, 
demos, new sistemki for Spectrum and the emulator on PC, 
releases (warez'y) some groups come here often enough. There 
was even an attempt to create a internet'e fileecho this 
conference, but it seems there were some difficulties. 
Currently fido7. zx. spectrum discussed in many vital events: 
an Enlight97 and FunTop98, new hardware and software 
development, distribution of copyright software and more. It is 
possible that in the next room the newspaper closer we will 
introduce you to this conference.  A new internet-konferetsiya 
relcom. comp. speccy, unless, of course, will be collected the 
necessary votes, will be, of course, First of all, it is 
internet-conference, although in a FIDO It will also be to 
participate. It will be Bilingual (Russian and English) 
International Conference. Principal it honors - will be keeping

 Your newsletter, sent to the above address, must include the 
word "Yes" for "or" Yes ", or the word" No "," Against " or 
"No". Explain your decision and support its arguments in

 ballots.
 In the case of a negative outcome of the vote the following 
vote on the creation of this conference may be held not earlier 
than six months.
