Hardware features

1. CPU Z84C15 - 14MHz/3.5MHz (optionally Z85 - 28MHz)
2. RAM - 1 up to 4Mb.
Compatibility in memory select scheme with ZX-Spectrum 48, ZX-Spectrum 128,
Scorpion ZS 256, Peters 256, Profi 1024.
Also designed new memory allocation: 256 16k pages (inserted at next
address: #0000, #4000, #8000, #C000)
3. High-performance video-RAM - 192Kb.
4. Video mode:
a) standard ZX Spectrum (256x192 pix)
b) text mode (80x25 sym, colour CGA quality)
c) graphic mode G256-8 - (320x256 with 256 colour per pixel from 16M
palette)
d) graphic mode G16-16 - (640x256 or 640x512 in INTERLIVE mode, 16 colour
per pixel, from 16 000 000 colour palette)
e) enable smooth change screen size (from 256x192 to 640x256);
f) one G16-16 screen or two G256-8 screens or 22 standard Spectrum screens
may placed in video memory at the same time;
g) Sprinter'97 screen divided to 40x32 small sqr zones. Everyone of them
have own resolution and parent screen or sprite address. This solve make
possible mix some video mode at presented screen! Use special 16k page for
control this feature.
h) Accelerator for playing AVI, for smooth horiz/diagonal scrolling, for
figure filling, for fast mem->scr access, etc.
5. Configure hardware structure and port allocation throw your own
programming (may possible Plug&Play technology :)
6. FDD - 5,25" 720Kb or 3,5" 720KB/1.44Mb.
7. IBM-AT keyboard with ZX-Spectrum kbd emulation/ possible scan-code
direct input/
8. Built-in IDE-controller for HDD and CD-ROM support.
9. Two built-in COM-ports (for serial mouse, modem,...).
10. Two built-in parallel ports (like as Centronix) for printer.
11. ISA-8 system bus (3 slots) (for sound card, internal modem,...)

Software features

1. 1 - 16 RAM-disks in range 16Kb .. 3,5Mb;
-port allocation control;
-4Mb memory allocation control;
-TR-DOS and MS-DOS support (possible present MS-DOS files like virtual
TR-DOS files)
2. Place any ROM contents at Read Only RAM for most compatibility with all
spectrum-clones machines.
